"The room was excellent, offering stunning lake and mountain views from the 4th floor of Building 2. The accommodations were comfortable, well maintained, and truly the highlight of our stay. However, the overall service experience was disappointing. Aside from the shuttle driver, who was very helpful and assisted us with our luggage, most staff members appeared unfriendly and unhelpful. The hotel is spread across three buildings connected by steep rocky streets, and the absence of elevators made access challenging, particularly when carrying luggage. While the scenery and room quality were outstanding, the level of hospitality did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, it was not worth the 3.5-hour drive from Vienna for us to return."

"Coming to visit from the U.S. this type of hotel is charming, not new or renovated but like walking back in time and visiting Grandma. Simple, sweet and wholesome. Took a morning walk at 7 am and wow! The beauty of this little village is unforgettable and after a quick breakfast, it took us only 10 minutes to travel to Halstatt and beat the crowds for an unforgettable walk through that postcard beauty."

"Amazing place right on the outside of Hallstatt marketplace such a beautiful community. Felt like we were in a fairy tale. Unfortunately did not realize until leaving that bikes were available for free. Would’ve loved to have had that highlighted at the top of the amenities list however this hotel is magical and I highly recommend anyone staying in the area to consider staying here."

"Excellent stay! The pictures don't do justice as the hotel is immaculate and the views are heavenly. You would love the fact that it's run by the Stadler family who works everyday together to provide you with the best service. We stayed at a family room on a third floor with direct view of the lake and it was spectacular. The breakfast buffet is amazing with daily made fresh options. The lunch and dinner options at the hotel are delicious. It's an excellent option for a few days stay to disconnect, unwind and take the nature in. The only bit of a challenge is that the transportation options in the area are a little limited. The hotel staff went out of their way to find us the best available transportation options. You may need to rent a car or rely on the local taxi/bus options -which are a little limiting. Overall, fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend. "
