"Honestly, one of the worst places I have stayed in a while. Check-in was good and staff were helpful. However, from there it deteriorated quickly. The room was dated and very basic. No grill, no toaster, coffee machine was there but there was moldy coffee left in it. Walls had been repaired in a really poor way in places and the equipment was old and not clean. "The room was lovely: spacious, great mattress and pillows, large shower space, espresso machine, large water carafe for still or sparkling water. The breakfast was very good. The staff was wonderful. The person who checked me in was warm and welcoming. When I told her I was going to go out for coffee after checking in , she told me there was a coffee machine in my room. Once I got to the room I realized there were no milk packets for my coffee. I went back down to the same person, and asked if had any milk available. She went to the breakfast room and got a tea pot and she heated milk for me to take up to my room. What a nice touch that was! Everyone I encountered in the hotel were obviously committed to making it a great overnight stay. And last: the location for an overnight stay to break up the Paris to Madrid trip was perfect. The hotel is attached to the train station and a ten to fifteen minute walk to the restaurants and downtown area. "
