Hotel location was perfect for visiting the Shrine of Fatima. Less than a 5 min walk. Ample parking behind the hotel for a small fee. The hotel itself was fairly clean but very dated. It felt like it hadn’t been modernized in the last 20 years but we sent very little time in the room. Breakfast was typical European continental and was a good start to the day.

The carpets are badly stained. I suggest guest bring bedroom sleepers to walk around the room. The staff are fairly helpful. The dining room staff are great. Room cleaners are slow to attend to the room if you stay longer than 1 night. The will clean rooms past 4 pm.

I came with my parents, 86 and 84 year. My father had limited mobility and we were able to have an electric scooter delivered to the hotel. They were very accomodating when we arrived and my father was able to rest in his wonderfully air conditioned room. He was happy that he had a comfortable bed and cool room for siesta and sleeping. We came during extremely hot temperatures so it was important for my parents to stay cool. The breakfast was wonderful and the treats at the lobby and the fruit water were very welcome touches added to their hospitality and welcome. The staff was extremely helpful and gave us great recommendations for food and transport. I highly recommend this hotel. The sancuary is a comfortable walking distance also from this hotel.

It says restaurant but the hotel only serves breakfast. I booked a room with a double bed for one person and I was given a room with 2 single beds without asking if it was ok. Overall the experience was good. Friendly and helpful dining staff at breakfast.
