I had no Hot water to take a shower and I paid for a King and they did not give me one! Said they only had a double room. My family that traveled with me also did not have Hot water. Very embarrassing to have some to go to your city and these are the accommodations!

The suite we were in was of good size. A couple of things within the room needed to be replaced - tv with shaded screen line going through it and desk chair which was broken. Additionally, there was a water leak in the bathroom coming from above - didn't notice until it was too late because we checked in late. The ceiling was actually soft to the touch - not sure how the cleaning staff had not reported that.

The front desk attendant was not present when we arrive nor was the phone answered when I called. He took a photo of my id with his phone without my consent saying “someone else checked in with my same id”. I asked if it was hotel policy and he said it was weird and he was going to notify the sherif. He said he would delete the photo but I don’t think it was fully deleted. This made me feel unsafe and as if my privacy was violated. I will not be returning to this hotel

This was a clean and quiet destination. Very comfortable bed too. First time sleeping in hotel room and not waking up because of strange noises. Very quiet. And Courtney was a great help both nights.

I am not kidding when I say the beds were so comfortable, I hated to return HOME back to my own bed. That comfortable! Somehow they managed to strike exactly the right balance between a cushy mattress that seems to cuddle you while firmly providing enough support that nowhere does it sag and give you a backache. With fluffy comforters that were still light enough not to overheat me (which always seems to happen, but not here). I am telling you, I have never experienced such a luxurious sleep. High quality beds! :-D The hotel sits about 4 minutes drive from Main Street of Farmville, so there is plenty of parking, but also nothing to do around the hotel. Very quiet. The lobby has a nice selection of coffee, various teas (caffeinated and decaf), and hot chocolate, around the clock. The front desk clerk was nice, although a little brusque. He did (unknowingly) steer me wrong, recommending a restaurant to me downtown clearly without realizing that it has "summer hours" and is only open on Saturdays, lol. I must also mention the breakfast. Yes, it is the regular hotel breakfast, but once again there were just little extras that elevated the offerings. For example, they have the usual waffle makers (2 of them btw) but they have TWO waffle batters: "malted vanilla" and "banana bread." Plus they have numerous toppings set out, not just butter and syrup but chocolate chips, strawberries, whipped cream... and a couple of others I don't remember. A great hotel!

MoD at night check in was SO nice. I was having an issue connecting to the internet and he was more than happy to help, and quick too. Our room is super nice and clean. I love all the accommodations! Very quiet hotel as well.

Extra fee of $25- for what?
Was surprised to be charged an additional fee of $25 for, I’m assuming, “incidentals”, but have no idea what they were! We didn’t do anything but sleep there— no water, snacks, coffee, etc. Wi-Fi was free, so we thought. Do they charge extra for showers??

I stayed in a hearing accessible room. The doorbell did not operate. Overall, the room was shabby; the rug was frayed and the shower area a bit moldy. The beds were comfortable, but the linens not crisp. The sink counter had no shelving to store your toiletries, I suppose due to possible wheelchair access. Overall, the room needs a do over due to wear and tear. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I asked for extra towel and received them immediately. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the coffee very good. The location is a few minutes' drive to Farmville village.

I tried to change this reservation on several attempts! I tried calling all day on Saturday & yesterday! I tried going through Expedia via chat on Sunday! I had an unexpected work event come up that i couldn’t make it to my reservation! This is not a normal Hampton inn that i have ever dealt with
