Everything was very clean, well decorated and very cozy. Wish the lighting would have been a bit brighter. The kitchen was well stocked. We really appreciated all of the tupperware containers, to store leftovers in. The lake level at rough river was low. There was also a lot of floating debris at certain times, making it hard to boat or tube. I would suggest putting a note in the manual about what day trash day is, along with providing one or two more trash cans. We had to take quite a bit of trash home with us because it wouldn't fit, and we didn't want animals getting into it. We moved the fire pit out from under the deck when we used it, so we didn't catch anything on fire. You might want to suggest that to other visitors. Also, the grill didn't work, which put a wrench in several of our meals. I hope that didn't sound too negative, over all it was a great family lake trip! Many memories were made! ##### Maria M. We brought our boat (boat ramp was less than .5 mile from the home), and we were able to tie it to the dock at the house for the duration of our stay. We had a lovely time wakeboarding, skiing and tubing, and came back to the house for lunch and at the end of each day able to relax and play games. We would absolutely stay here again. Owner was quick to respond to our questions and was able to remotely unlock the door when we had trouble with the code. Our only suggestion would be that the house is pretty dark. The neighborhood was friendly as they use the back yard for access to water. We were welcomed and told if we needed anything to holler. The hosts were very clear on their expectations and provided all info prior to our stay. This is a beautiful home, and I truly felt the listing pictures did not do it justice!
