We arrived about 4pm with our 5pm appointment lurking. We had a paid reservation for our room we had made a month or more ago. Our 30+ minute check-in wait caused by your decision to let the previous guests leave at 3pm was a distressing way to be introduced to your facility. I lost track of the number of people it required to eventually produce a room for us. And when the clerk said, "The room you booked, we only have a few. And we are sold out..." made it sound like our reservation didn't matter. We had to fast track and adapt our plans to meet our 5pm obligation because of your delay. The room in 411 was quite large, but obviously aged and awkward. The lack of lighting made reading difficult on the couch. Broken, leaking, and clogged plumbing often required finesse to operate. We had to adjust the table leg of the dining table to prevent it from tipping over. The hole in the ceiling directly above the table and rusty bathtub added to the aged appearance. TVs were oddly mounted in corners, making them visible in only part of the room. One of the glass cabinet doors, if opened more than a few inches to retrieve a bowl inside, would bang into the stove hood and possibly break. What appeared to be clear caulk was piled on the cabinet top next to the sink, which I didn't see until I set a coffee cup in it. We had to pry the cup off the counter. We covered it with a paper towel to make sure that didn't happen again. Don't expect us back.

The location of the property was great. Place was clean and the pool was nice. However, the quality of the place felt cheaply made. The most annoying thing was the hot water issue. We had to run the hot water for 15 min to even get it warm and then it went tepid after only a few minutes. They mentioned it being a possible issue during peak hours, but there’s no reason this should occur at 4:30 in the morning. Unless you like cold showers, I would not recommend staying here.

Excellent place to stay with well appointed kitchen and comfortable bed. The swimming pool was the perfect place to cool off on a hot day along with its shaded cabana area. The location is very convenient for visiting Mountain Brook, Crestline Village and shopping.

The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The water cooler was nearly empty and no vending machines. No staff available. Had to take my medication with sink water from the bathroom.
