"The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

"Quietly located place in the forest at 5 km from major roads. Deer come to the garden in the evening. All facilities available even android TV on which you can cast movies and TV. Good starting place for walks. From 00:00 also very good for night photography. Well received and got a lot of information about the region and surroundings. Highly recommended for those looking for peace in the middle of nature."

"we had a very nice stay. Everything is as described and as can be seen in the internet. We will surely come back. You'll need a car as there are no shops in Theillac or in walking/cycling distance. I was only confused about the booking: VRBO/FeWo-direkt warns you to only pay or communicate via their own platform and to ignore all other requests. But all communication and payment had to be made via a French platform I didn't know. This turned out to be just as reputable as VRBO, but I was still...
