Stayed here many times over the years. Great location, character building, friendly staff, superb breakfast, easy parking.
Tempered on this particular occasion by ineffective room air conditioning and a dog basket & dirty glasses to greet us outside the room on arrival. Hopefully these points will get sorted soon.

"Staff helpful and room clean but overall feel of property was that it was shabby and unloved. Nothing to do with the age if the property but all anout the dated decor. Poor state of paintwork throughout and flooring that was stained and well past its date. The cafe was lovely and staff wete helful ..."
