Welcome to the Evart Escape — your cozy, recently updated riverfront retreat on the Muskegon River! Relax by the water on our spacious deck, cast a line with great fishing, soak in our 6-person hot tub, or gather around the fire pit. We also provide a Blackstone grill, yard games, and plenty of space to unwind.

Evart is close to ORV trails, hiking, and downtown Evart - perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers, with easy day trips to Traverse City, Lake Michigan, and more!

Adventure awaits just steps from your door with direct access to the beautiful Muskegon River—perfect for kayaking, fishing, or a refreshing dip. We provide life jackets for your safety, but please remember to swim at your own risk. Water shoes are highly recommended for a more comfortable experience. Please note you do need to walk down a hill without steps or a stair railing to access the water.

The home runs on well water, which is safe for drinking and daily use. For convenience and peace of mind, you may wish to bring bottled water for drinking. Our stainless steel refrigerator features a built-in ice maker and water dispenser for your convenience.

Please note that Evart Escape is located in a rural setting. While we have regular professional pest control, it's possible to encounter some bugs—part of the charm of being close to nature.

The cabin is intentionally designed with comfort in mind for a memorable stay!

We’re so excited to welcome you to Evart Escape—a peaceful getaway on the river where relaxation meets adventure.

Evart Escape is tucked away on a quiet, private dirt road, offering a secluded and peaceful setting. A long driveway provides plenty of space for parking multiple vehicles. During periods of heavy rain or snow, we recommend a four-wheel drive for navigating the dirt roads safely. Take it slow on your way in—you just might spot some local wildlife along the way!

Dogs are welcome! If you are bringing a dog on your vacation, there will be a $75 fee.
