The house was tidy, comfy and as described. We made use of the huge porch (covered for rainy days and uncovered for enjoying the gorgeous night sky), the fire pit (s'mores yum) and the grill. Kitchen had plenty of cooking tools, pots, pans, dinnerware, etc. Beds were comfortable with nice blankets for cool Maine nights. AC was also very much appreciated for the warmer days. We loved how it felt like the house was far away from it all, but it was easy to pop over to the market for supplies. Drives to all our activities -- swimming and boating at Flagstaff lake, walks at Cathedral Pines, hiking the AT and all the waterfall trails between here and Rangeley) -- were easy and beautiful.
