The Angler - On The Banks of the Tobacco River in Eureka Montana

The Angler is an old cabin we moved from another property in Eureka and refurbished it, and gave it a new home right on the Tobacco River. It is a private cabin sleeping 2 - we can add a cot for an extra charge. This cabin is private, secluded and off grid. With a cool remodeled interior, comfortable bed with Pendleton blankets, this unit stays cool in the shade next to the river all summer and is a guest favorite. The Angler is one of 6 units at Tobacco River Ranch. Check out our other listings. We host weddings and family reunions too!

Eureka, Montana is a sweet small town, with everything you need - but without crowds. We are truly the Last Best Place. Just an hour from the Flathead, 1 1/2 hours from Glacier Park, and 1 hour 15 from the Kootenai Falls. Experience Montana without the crowds! Our ranch comprises 450 acres of trails and forests and farmland, 1 1/2 miles of river, is adjacent to state forest, and Rails to Trails runs through our property.

Whether your thing is hiking, biking, swimming, rock climbing, fishing or forest bathing, we've got you covered. Come for the recreation, but stay to relax!

Glamping = Glamorous Camping. Let us handle the set up, you're here to relax! We have three cabins and three vintage trailers to rest your head next to the beautiful Tobacco River.

On site you'll find a beautiful community kitchen with all the equipment you need, and showers and bathrooms. We have a few bikes & tubes for guest use. We have built a brand new awesome compost toilet ("Le Biffy") which is near this unit, as well as our remodeled camper kitchen. Guests are also welcome to use the new and modern Base Camp building.

Guests have access to our community kitchen and showers/toilets. Guests also have access to our entire property, 450 acres of trails, forest, pasture and river. We provide a few tubes for river use and bikes for rails to trails as well.

You will experience wildlife, great vistas in a natural setting, but in the comfort of a bed with linens supplied. (And a bath towel, beach towels not supplied.) There is rugged terrain on the property and you will need good walking/hiking shoes. You can unload 100-200 feet from your cabin, but park in designated parking. Toilets are also 100-200 feet from each cabin or camper.
