"I liked that the cabin was right next to the river. The cabin had a private hot tub that was relaxing to soak in under the starry night sky. The gas grill was a nice addition to the deck to grill food on. They're was plenty of chairs and tables around to sit . They have a horseshoe game there to play. They're was lots of wildlife animals near by. I would definitely like to go back and stay there again! Awesome hospitality! Thank you!"

"We loved everything about our stay except for the breakfast. Very much below average. Minimal options and still ran out of items prior to the end of breakfast time. A little effort could improve the overall quality."

"The Expedition Lodge is very quirky and different, but in a good way! Definitely not a cookie cutter chain hotel...and you should like stairs, lol. The lodge seems to be built on a hill and there are several short sets of stairs in all directions from the lobby. There is an elevator that will bring you to some of the rooms, though. Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient, and provided suggestions on our RMNP itinerary. The lodge had THE MOST unique breakfast I've ever experienced where you could opt for breakfast or lunch-type options. They are renovating certain areas, too. We were very happy with our stay!"

"Staff was very friendly and easy to work with. We got into town an hour early and they helped us check in early and get settled easily. Very clean and updated rooms with comfortable bedding. "

"Loved the area! The creek was beautiful and the environment was so peaceful and refreshing. The restaurant next door was also great!"

"Bed was good, pillows could be better. Breakfast was a couple of boiled eggs, which you had to ask for. Other choices were sparse, such as there being only white bread for toast (no wheat or bagels) and there weren't any pastries. The property is kind of hard to get in and out of, but there was wildlife on property so that made our trip."
