Esther and her husband are wonderful hosts and their gite provided a very welcome rest stop for us for 3 nights. We loved meeting all the animals too.

Het is een authentiek Frans verblijf. Beetje muf, maar deuren en ramen openzetten doet wonderen. De keuken vergt wel wat creativiteit qua ruimte, maar is meer dat voldoende bevoorraad! De gebruikelijke pannen en bestek, maar ook mixer, alle soorten kruiden die je nodig kan hebben, keukenrol, zakjes, noem maar op. Ik heb 1 bed in gebruik gehad, maar het matras kon beter. Slaapkamers zijn zeer ruim. Badkamer is modern en zeer goed bevallen. Al zou ik het drempeltje beter accentueren. 's nachts naar de wc moeten is wel opletten. Tuin is scheef, dus een tuinbed goed neerzetten is een uitdaging. Goede parasol. Groene omheining, dus privacy is goed.Omgeving is heel mooi. Boerderij staat ver van bewoonde wereld af, dus je waant je alleen op de wereld. Ook omdat de eigenaars tijdens mijn verblijf zelf met vakantie waren.Honden zijn inderdaad erg vriendelijk. Wel veel lastige vliegen. Komt natuurlijk door de koeien. Ik was blij mijn elektrische vliegenmepper meegenomen te hebben, al waren ouderwetse meppers ook aanwezig in het huisje. Al met al heb ik een heerlijk verblijf gehad en zou er zonder nadenken opnieuw naartoe gaan.

Esther nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux et a été très attentionnée. Nous sommes ravies de notre séjour à la ferme auprès de leurs superbes vaches, chevaux, les sympathiques triplettes, coqs, poules et chats, sans oublier les adorables toutous câlins. Le gîte est rustique mais très confortable et propre. On ne manque de rien, tout est à disposition. Nous gardons précieusement ce lieu. On y retournera, c'est sûr.

Séjour au calme

On ne peut trouver endroit plus calme que la ferme d'Esther, et on peut y apprécier le luxe du silence ! Le petit chat et les chiens viendront vous tenir compagnie mais toujours avec tact et discrétion ! Esther et son mari sont très accueillants. La maison est une maison de campagne très simple, mais Esther a pensé à tout : les lits sont faits, tout est très propre, un classeur pour vous aider dans vos choix d'activités et dans les questions du quotidien (épiceries, restaurants, activités à proximité...), carte routière et cartes de randonnées détaillées, tout a été pensé pour qu'on passe de bonnes vacances ! Et cerise sur le gateau : la balade en calèche avec Esther ! Merci pour tout Esther ! Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances ! Merci beaucoup

Freundliche Aufnahme, cottage Typ mit entsprechendem Garten wo man sich wohlfühlen kann. Gut eingerichtet auch mit einer Großzügigkeit, die kleine Mengen an Salz, Zucker Öl, Essig betrifft... Vielen Dank Esther!

Escapade rafraichissante à la ferle

Esther nous a accueillis dans ce petit gîte accolé à sa ferme. En pleine nature et au calme, nous avons pu apprécier la passion de leur métier et nos enfants ont passé plusieurs heures par jour à faire la tournée des animaux (vaches, chiens, chats, lapins, chevaux, poules, oies...) Nous avons même pu profiter des poneys et faire un joli tour en calèche. La campagne environnante est magnifique et il y a à moins de 30mn pas mal de choses à faire ou à voir. Le confort du gîte est très rustique, il y a tout le nécessaire mais il faut savoir qu'on est dans un gîte très "nature". Quand c'est ce qu'on est venu chercher, comme dans notre cas, c'est très bien!

Séjour apaisant, convivialité avec les agriculteurs.

Le calme est le maître mot de ce gîte, les propriétaires sont des personnes très agréables et conviviales. Nous ne pourrons pas oublier aussi les belles promenades à pied le long de l'Issoire, un endroit reposant. Et le souvenir qui nous restera ce sera aussi les balades en calèche en compagnie d'Esther. Perfekt für Kinder

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und können den Aufenthalt als Familie nur empfehlen! Es ist alles erdenkliche an Ausstattung im Haus vorhanden, viel Platz draußen zum Spielen und Entdecken, dazu spannende Begegnungen ob Hund, Katze, Pferd, Gans oder Frosch! :)

We didn’t want to leave

We had such a relaxing time with our daughter on the farm. Esther and Fritz were so lovely and accommodating! It was boiling hot when we were there and Esther still took our daughter on a promised sunset horse ride. The house accommodations were exactly as you would expect on a farm, but all straight forward to use. It is very close to bigger towns like Confolens and Lesterps so it’s easy to pop out for dinner or cook in. Our daughter fell in love with all the animals and we really hope to book a longer stay soon!

Great base for cycling holiday

We based ourselves here for a cycling holiday. We received a very warm welcome and ona hot day it was great to be shown a fridge ready with cool beers, water and ice cream!The farm house was lovely and cool, very rural and we liked that it was a working farm. Esther and Fritz are so friendly. Great area for cycling, miles of quiet roads.

Le séjour fut très agréable : le gîte (un ancien corps de ferme) est spacieux et bien équipé. La ferme d'Esther, qui comprend de nombreux animaux (vaches, chevaux, lapins, oies, canards, chien et chat) est idéale pour les enfants, les amoureux de la nature (la campagne est très belle) et les amateurs de vieille pierre : Confolens, Saint Junien (très belle maroquinerie par ailleurs), Mortemart et les monts de Blons, Bellac... Un grand merci à Esther et Fritz pour leur accueil et leur grande disponibilité !
