I have stayed at many an Ibis but this one was the best. The young people at the front desk were delightful. The room was great - actually there were 3 of us and we got two rooms for what was the price of one in most places. The location was perfect and Rotterdam is a great city. I hope to go back and when I do, I will choose Ibis.
Ah, one more thing - my brother cut himself removing the luggage from the storage locker and again, the front desk staff were great in administering first aid and sympathy!!:)

Staff were fantastic. We really enjoyed the kitchenette facility with a shared fridge, microwave and coffee and tea. Everything was clean and felt well taken care of. We did find the pillows to be a bit small and lumpy (there were only 2 pillows on a queen size bed) and the shower does make the whole bathroom floor wet - thankfully they staff are happy to refresh your towels daily and they do have a towel warmer if you want to dry them faster yourself. There are quite a few stairs and the front door is quite heavy, so this hotel probably is not suitable for those with limited mobility.

The rooms were well equipped, clean and well presented. The air-conditioning worked well. There was a bit of a funny smell in the room which I think comes from the fact you can't open the windows so no fresh air can get in. Breakfast was fantastic and the kids loved it. It was a good hotel and we'd stay there again.

You get what you pay for right in this case. The hotel is shabby but the room and the bathroom were very clean. The staff were all very friendly. The location is very good as only a short walk from Rotterdam Centraal, close to the central part and the tram stop is just outside.
