J.Rousseau Park. A 2 min walk from the village, the Chateau d'Ermenonville and away from traffic: 450m2, 5 bedrooms including 1 master suite, a dining room and 1 large living room-cathedral with a piano, a huge open fireplace on the garden, beams of the 16th century. 1st floor: a TV library and a children's corner. New and fully equipped kitchen and new bathrooms. A real paradise! Our family home is unique because it is located in a private domain away from all traffic, in a green setting, and with only sound that singing birds. The living room is a huge cathedral living room of 80 m2 overlooking the Park All parts of the house are very spacious. The fully equipped kitchen is a huge living space of 33m2, a real treat for the blue cords and to share good times with family or friends There is a second living room / TV / library on the first floor of 35 m2 with a library rich of contemporary and ancient works We are located a few minutes walk from the village and the castle Ermenonville. The entrance to the premises is from 15 hours. After crossing the gates of the property, you will enjoy an unobstructed view of the Jean Jacques Rousseau Park and the pond. The garden of the Charmille: at your disposal the private park of 1 hectare, hundred-year-old trees, flowers, beehives, goats, chickens, a garden furniture, table and chairs, barbecue hammock, parasol, deckchairs, swing. New fitted kitchen with direct access to the terrace: Large rectangular table and 12 chairs, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, Nespresso machine, kettle, 2 irons and ironing board, many kitchen utensils , chimney-grill. Quietness and a change of scenery at La Charmille, take a seat in the Salon Bibliothèque to browse more than a hundred historical or contemporary works; flat screen TV, PS4, speakers, CD stereo. Sleeping: There are 3 bedrooms with double bed on the ground floor. one of them is a huge parental suite. There are 2 other double bedrooms on the 1st floor. A corner children with 2 beds for 1 person + 1 bed separated for 1 person + 1 bed All the rooms of the Charmille are decorated following a theme of color and flower: Lavender, Rose, Peony, Linden, White lilac and are equipped with dressers or antique wardrobes, a large dressing room with cupboards on the ground floor, bed linen is provided Bathrooms: refurbished, walk-in showers, liquid hand soap and towels provided. shower gel La Charmille has the capacity to accommodate large groups for the day, however our capacity for the night is 14 people MAXIMUM with 1 cot. My wife and I took our children and their families on a two week trip to France in July. My plan was to initially show off Paris, and then expose them to a more relaxed setting while discovering all the charms and beauty of the French campagne. This lovely property did not disappoint. Our group of 13 ranged in age from 15mos to 69 years. All were comfortable. All enjoyed the spacious grounds and the interior. The large, well-appointed kitchen allowed us to have numerous meals en famille. In addition to enjoying the local offerings such as the Chateau and the Parc JJ Rousseau, Ermenonville's location permitted several easy regional day trips which included Chantilly and Epernay. Another benefit of having stayed in Ermenonville was that its 30 - 40 minute proximity to CDG airport effectively added 1 to 1-1/2 days to our trip compared to if we had ventured to other destinations such as Normandie, Bretagne or Provence. The hospitality of our hosts merit special acknowledgment. Our primary on-site interaction was with Henri and Cynthia. The day we checked in, we were surprised to learn that a local restaurant I had planned on taking everyone to for dinner was closed. Cynthia drove me and my wife to a supermarket in the next village, and waited while we shopped for groceries. The next day, she practically insisted that she drive us to fetch our rental cars instead of relying on Uber. I will never forget those singular acts of kindness. Merçi pout tout! ##### Jacques W. Merci beaucoup. Nous avons passé un séjour parfait dans une demeure où l'on s'est immédiatement senti chez nous. La maison et le jardin sont superbes . Il ne faisait pas très beau et nous avons profité de la cheminée XXL avec vue sur le jardin. Nos hôtes sont à l'écoute, d'une grande discrétion .
