If you are going to visit Bergamo there really isn't much point in choosing a hotel in the lower town - Citta Bassa - as everything you want to see is in the Citta Alta. What a gorgeous room! High spec and attention to detail throughout! The location is perfectly placed close to the funicular to the Citta Alta. Our host, Leila, was outstanding and helped us make recommendations for dinner at places that served amazing local dishes with great service. We highly recommend Ginevra rooms for those wanting to enjoy all Bergamo has to offer. A fantastic city! We will be back!

The stay was wonderful, lake view, very pleasant staff. Only down side is if you are walking it is a bit of a trek up a very steep hill, but worth it for the view. We asked about taxi back to the station but they only have 3 in the town and they much prefer airport runs, the lady from the hotel then took us herself which just added to how the hotel felt, a real homestay. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would 100% recommend

This newly opened hotel is beautiful. The rooms ate nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The bonus or air con, kettle, coffee, machine, free toiletries, hairdryer and a mini bar are all a huge plus. The breakfast is simple, super and just enough to set you up for the day. Irina on the reception desk is so friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. She helped make our stay run smoothy with tips for getting bus tickets and where to visit. We would return no problem!
