Homely stay with friendly artentive service

Des was a lovely host,old school hotelier, friendly attentive and not over bearing, breakfast is basic but a full english is available at a sucharge.

Booked by My boss for a night whilst working away, wasn't sure what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised, looking forward to her booking here for me again when the bigger contract starts, nice area, didn't feel on edge leaving my van on the car park and a lovely breakfast

Very much enjoyed our stay here. We were only here for one night as we were attending a friend’s wedding nearby. Des made us very welcome. It’s a lovely guest house. Very comfortable with great service.

The hotel location and Hotel staff service was excellent, very helpful and friendly, most important it is located in place handy for Motorway M11 to London,Stansted Airport, or and Epping forest The only think that need improving is the road sign it is not visible from the main road other wise it is excellent place to stay for business, and site seeing

Excellent communication

Excellent communication from the owner. Room was large, peaceful nights sleep in a soft bed. Little tired- its not plush, more functional but did the job for me, staying over to catch tube into London as Epping is on the Central line. Helpful book in room with local knowledge to call taxi to station, was able to collect my car on return. I would definitely use again to travel into London without hassle.
