Lovely quaint property. Clean room, lacks air conditioning but we had own fan so slept well. Great breakfast, lovely lady manning breakfast and reception.

The hotel is very well equipped and the staff were courteous and helpful.
My personal criticism is the rooms are poorly soundproofed and having the Gym on the top floor is not the best option.
I could hear every dropped dumbbell.
Such a shame as the location is great.

We're a bit in the middle about this hotel. It looked lovely from the pictures, add to that the reviews and it was an easy choice, unfortunately on a Sunday the bar and restaurant are closed which wasn't obvious via hotels.com. This made the experience not as it could have been. Still a great sleep and clean hotel. Breakfast was nice, they serve great coffee.
Not a lot of interaction was had with staff so we can't comment on this

The main positive of Hotel Monopol is its location—it’s right next to Frankfurt Central Station, making transit seamless. Beyond that, the stay was very disappointing. The entire property feels extremely old, tired, and overdue for a major refurbishment. The furniture, fixtures, and decor felt heavily worn out
