Hi Garry. Happy to see you thought our location and place were excellent! I can't say I'm surprised you left us a less than perfect review. You brought a dog with you after booking with no pets and then ignored my requests for three days to pay your pet fee. The poor communication was definitely on your end, not mine. The chairs at the property are fine! They do get some surface rust here and there since we are on the beach and the salt and metal don't get along well, but we replace those as they become unusable. We have fabulous beach towels available for all our guests. When you claimed our cleaning lady "locked you out of the laundry room", I came over within minutes to find the door unlocked. You seemed really surprised seeing me and still couldn't open the unlocked door with me standing there, seeming to not know how to turn the handle, so I am not really sure what was going on there.

Hi Kerry. Happy you enjoyed your stay and location! We checked on the all the cookware and all seem great! We do protect the mattress for all of our guests with an enclosed plastic covering and have a super thick nice mattress cover and the mattress is new! We will make sure our cleaning lady double checks supplies left from now on but this is usually never a problem. She always leaves a few toilet paper rolls, trash bags, paper towels, etc to get through a week or two! I wish you would have contacted me when you first arrived, I would have addressed every one of your issues immediately and made sure your stay was 100% perfect for you. That is our goal :)

Hi Nora. I knew this was coming! Our cleaning crew does an excellent job and I was actually in the cottage you stayed at minutes before you showed up adding new towels and beach chairs for you. The place was spotless! Your husband tried his hardest to get a refund but since we wouldn't do that, this is the result. Please don't book with us in the future.

Well, I knew this was coming. On day one, you called me to tell me your feet were dirty but otherwise everything was fine. I told you I would have our cleaning crew come out IMMEDIATELY and you refused that. On watching our outside security camera, you were walking around outside on day of arrival with bare feet. The second day, you complained some more. I again said I would have our cleaning crew come out and address any issues you felt needed addressed and you refused. On day three, you continued to complain so I insisted that our cleaning crew was coming whether you wanted them to or not. I did this mainly for our protection. When the cleaning crew arrived, the place was spotless like they left it. They mopped again (they bring their own steam mop) and no dirt was present on the floor. There was no mop there or in the trash that would have indicated you had mopped it. You stayed your entire stay and even told me you enjoyed the beach and the location. This review is based on the fact that I would not give you a credit or a refund like you were looking for. Please don't ever request a stay at any of our locations in the future.

Are you sure you have the right place? Lisa, we spoke several times during your stay and the only complaint you made was that you were disappointed the weather temperatures were chillier than you wished for but expected it and even brought your Uggs to wear. As I recall, you wanted a refund because it was your birthday and angry about it "being chilly". You never complained about the cottage nor did we have to service your unit. The fence is not broken. There is a brand new refrigerator. The oven, microwave and dishwasher work great. We keep a supply of new linens at all times for our guests to use. We are on a short private road that dead ends into the beach. We take offense to your slanderous remarks and will report this review to VRBO and turn it over to our legal department to investigate for slander.

Hi Kathy. This unit does not have a typical bedroom closet but it does have plenty of drawers and a garment rack to hang plenty of clothes on. The kitchen is filled with items to cook with. I even had a crockpot delivered to you at your request. Our bed and bedding are extremely comfortable and yes we do protect the mattress (and our guests) with a plastic encasement, which you cannot tell is even there. There are cleaning products available in the bathroom and kitchen. Not sure what exactly you are referring to but you were provided plenty of cleaning products if you so wished to clean. Amy and I both made special accommodations for you, it is very saddening to see you left a 3 star review regarding the items you claim you would have "appreciated". My suggestion to you if you vacation in the future would be to stay at a full size house with a large kitchen to accommodate all the items you need to cook with and a large closet.
