The location is perfect to the beach and the beach itself was lovely. We walked to the state park, went shark teeth hunting, and walked to the local restaurants. The location is very relaxing and peaceful. We appreciate being able to bring our fur babies too, as they are part of our family. We stayed in the 1/1 bungalow, which is all we needed. Scott, the host came by the morning after we got there and he was super friendly and helpful! He even invited us in to show us the big house, which we will be booking next time when we bring grandkids down! The property was beautiful! Even closer to the beach than i was expecting. Standing in the driveway you can see the ocean. The beach is fantastic, clean and barely anyone there. The key has amazing restaurants and lots of boat/kayak rentals, plus a great gift shop. The property itself exceeded expectations. It was extremely clean, there wasn't a single bug spotted inside our entire stay. The kitchen is well equipt with dishes, as well as kitchen basics (coffee, salt, pepper, etc). There were plenty of extra sheets, towels and blankets. All the furniture was comfortable and not outdated like I saw in another review. We greatly appreciated the old florida charm. Scott was an amazing host! He was very courteous, gave great directions and was very responsive with any questions we had. We came for our honeymoon and stayed 6 days.
