La Jolla Cove Suites

6/10 Okay

"Transparency in the booking process would have been useful. First, the view is AMAZING. The room was great as well, everything including the bed, bathroom, etc… perfect. The room was located on “an elevated location”. Sadly this was a walk around the building and then about 50 stairs to the room. No baggage service was offered and by time I hauled by overweight bag (and overweight body) to the room I was drenched in a flop sweat. The building is completely under construction, loud noise all day and I mean all day. For what we paid I would have expected some additional services, like a rooftop breakfast. However, the roof was rented and closed for private events on 2 of our 3 days and no breakfast was up there. I feel swindled."
