Dirt and stains
Nice hotel in deplorable maintenance conditions. Dirtiest carpets and couches I've ever seen. Carpets in the hallways and within the bedrooms had deep stains all throughout. Our mattress and bedsheets had stains on them as well. It's really a pity because the property has potential, but evidently the decision has been made to not invest a dime in maintaining it.

Wonderful Hotel
I had a wonderful 3 nights at this hotel. Check in was quick, I was on the 8th floor so had a great view of the city. My room was really big, there were several movie channels in English. The bathroom was clean, plenty of towels and hot water, shower gel, body lotion and shampoo was all given. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice buffet style. The front desk helped me get a taxi to the train station to cross into Paraguay. Many thanks for the lovely stay.

Well located hotels
I stayed at this hotel for 3 days in January for a business stay. The hotel overall was great, food, service, location,etc with exception to the very old carpet. Not a deal breaker, but not expected.

This is not a 4 star hotel. If you accept that then it's ok and I would recommend but if you are looking for a 4 star accommodation this is not. Great location, the staff is very helpful and the room I had was spacious enough. The bathroom needs updating, the shower door didn't close properly allowing water to create a puddle in the bathroom. Toiletries were basic. They don't have electric kettles to lend to guests and the breakfast was ok but not the standard you would expect from a 4 star.

Great location, very helpful staff. The room was a good size and overall Carpet in the room was stained, the bathroom had a faulty shower door that wouldn’t close properly. It needs updating. Breakfast was ok. Overall I don’t think this is a 4 star hotel, it felt more like a 3 star. If you don’t have 4 star expectations then this hotel would suit.

Great stay in central Posadas
Enjoyed it. Food was great and located in centre of town with lots of shopping all around. Staff were superb and very accommodating. Only thing, no parking provided.

This is a modern hotel. Everything is modern and clean (except the carpets) and everything works (except sometimes the toilet) works properly. Rooms are quite large. It is about two blocks from the central square where there are some good restaurants. The hotel staff is very helpful. The buffet breakfast is OK, with scrambled eggs, cereal, fruit, bread, and coffee. Lunch and dinner are good in the first floor restaurant and ground floor bar, but not as interesting as, for instance in the Querencia restaurant on the main square. There is a taxi stand across the street from the hotel that always has plenty of taxis.

Excellent hotel in the centre of this city
Posadas is not a tourist destination but it conveniently lies on the route between Buenos Aires and Iguazu across the river from Paraguay. Hotel Urbano is centrally located in a good shopping district. It is modern and looks new. The public areas are spacious, good seating and overlook a medium sized swimming pool. Our bedroom was large, well furnished, good views of the city, everything one could require for a short stay. We recommend La Qurencia, a nearby restaurant, for an excellent dinner.

Choose carefully in Posadas
Hotel was in a very central location and handy to restaurants. No car parking and was directed 3 streets away. Staff were disinterested at check in. Room was large and comfortable however carpet was badly stained with an orange substance.

This hotel was recommended to us by other Americans who have gone to Posadas. It is right downtown and within walking distance to the casino, shopping and restaurants. All of the restaurants along the river are just an easy, quick, inexpensive cab ride (around $5 USD). Our stay included free breakfast which was really nice. Very basic in American standards, but everything you would want--coffee, juice, breads, fruit, jams, mets and cheese. The service was really wonderful. A few of the employees spoke English which was very helpful. I will definitely stay here the next time we go to Posadas!

We had been staying in wonderful eco-lodges in Argentina, but wanted a day in Posadas to visit the Jesuit missions -- this new clean, efficient and well-presented hotel was a fresh change of pace. Recommended (especially considering the reviews of other alternatives in town).

Nice hotel. recently renovated ( a year or two ago) and it has been tastefully done. Very close to town, you can walk everywhere. Two blocks away from the main plaza (centre of town). Very pleasant and well trained staff. Most spoke english. Big rooms with nice views. Only fault was that the carpets in the rooms are cream and badly stained in both the rooms we stayed in. Breakfast is great and the pool fantastic. In summer it gets very hot so come prepared (40 deg celcius are common!). All air conditioned inside though. But book through expedia.....lot cheaper than if you walk in off the street.

Wonderful visit to Posadas and the HA Posadas Urbano. The only problem was the hotel signage. We drove by the hotel and even walked by it until we realized where it was. It looks like they know the issue and have a solution in the works.

Aluguei um quarto triplo superior, pelo qual paguei, para a minha estadia com um casal de filhos adultos, e me deram uma cama de casal e uma cama de solteiro de armação q nao adaptava o colchão. Sem ao menos me pedir desculpas e nem devolução de valores. Quando fui indagar me disseram q só tinha este quarto. Pessimo relacionamento.

Pelo valor pago, o hotel oferece pouquíssimas coisas, o café da manhã é bem fraco não condiz com o restante do hotel, nem o valor da diária condiz com o café da manhã. Outros hotéis na cidade oferecem a mesma coisa pela metade do valor ou menos.
