Stockholm is a great city for a mini break...I'd been warned about how pricey eating out could be. If you can have your main meal at lunch timne rather than dinner, there ARE bargains to be had at some of hte city's swankier eateries. I fully expect this country to be a cashless society by 2020. This is a place where card payments are king.

I booked the double loft room which was cosy but functional. There was not much space to move around but had a comfy bed and nice shower. Sadly there was no desk in the room as it was quite small and there were no real facilities to work from when downstairs (there is a restaurant on the ground floor). The staff did allow me to work from a high table near the entryway but it really was not suitable. There are other establishments nearby that you can work from (cafe / restaurants) and it was nice area to explore. The staff were lovely, very courteous and accommodating. The food was nice and the atmosphere in the restaurant was vibrant and interesting as a solo traveller. I think if you are travelling for work you would need to book a much bigger room but as a tourist it is a lovely quaint hotel in a great part of Stockholm.

Excellent location close to public transit and a great bike store for multi day rentals (getting around Stockholm by bike highly recommended). Close to grocery stores, liquor store, cafes and fantastic cycle and walking routes into the centre. Cute local free ferry nearby as well. Kitchen well stocked apart from no hot mitts and knives not sharp. For a small studio it was well appointed. Wished we could have opened windows for fresh air. Otherwise excellent - great location and good value for money.
