Whether you just want a quiet get away to take in all nature has to offer or you want to float, kayak, trail ride, hike, fish, boat, sxs ride, explore beautiful springs, search for the wild horse herds or just do nothing! We offer horse stalls for BYOH trail riders as well. Book this cozy cabin at Old Desperado Ranch. The cabin is located at Old Desperado Ranch which is a private, secluded small camp 1.25 miles down the gravel road from the main highway. For same-day arrival bookings, please inquire directly as it may show unavailable even when it is! There are only 3 cabins and so you will not be surrounded by people. You have a full kitchen and bathroom. Queen size bed in each loft. The main loft is accessed by stairs and the secondary loft is accessed by a ladder. There is a cozy gas fireplace, big screen smart TV and WIFI. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen that includes all the dishes/cooking items you will need. There is a charcoal grill as well. We provide all linens and bathing towels (you will need to bring your own swimming towels). We also provide complimentary shampoo/soap and coffee/sugar/creamer. Sit on the porch overlooking a hillside and wet weather creek while being surrounded by beautiful scenery. If you want quiet seclusion, this is the cabin for you. Old Desperado Ranch has 4 horse stalls available for BYOH guests to rent. Guided BYOH trail rides also available for add’l charge. We also offer trailrides (as an add’l service paid directly at the ranch) through the beautiful hills, valleys and creeks of the area. You may even get a sighting of the wild horses! Current River, Sutton's Creek and the Jacks Fork River are just a short trip down the gravel road for you to swim, fish or just relax and grill lunch! We can set you up with a local outfitter for floating that will pick you up from the cabin and bring you back after your float. This cabin is best suited for two adults but will sleep five for those groups who have kids or don’t mind being cozy! Please note that the secondary sleeping loft is accessed by a ladder. The main sleeping loft is accessed by steps. The loveseat sized couch pulls out to a twin size bed. Beautiful bathroom with shower, toilet and vessel sink! The Main floor area measures 12 x 20 240 ft.². This is a true Tiny House. If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to ask! It’s our goal to make sure our guests are all comfortable and have a wonderful time in the area. Rate is based on 2 people, each additional person is $10 per night. Pets (2 dogs max) are welcome with $10/nt fee per dog and $50 refundable pet deposit as long as pet policy is followed. The tiny house is super clean, it was very well made and decorated. Everything works and it’s nice to have a coffee maker there, pots and pans, kitchen utensils etc. All bedding is provided. The only issue we had at all was there is a small sign stating the name of the place, but it could be missed. If one is not used to traveling down dirt roads it might be a little intimidating. Also, a low riding car may have difficulty traveling down the road.We are used to roads like this so it really wasn't an issue.It is a very nice "Tiny House", and had everything we needed. I stayed at the Tiny House with my husband and our 11 year old. We had such a lovely time. The cabin is small, but all the space it utilized and it had all the amenities you could want! The screened in porch was perfect for hummingbird viewing and sun-drenched breakfasts. We made s’mores in the fire lit and sat on the deck listening to the sounds of the woods. The property was easy to find, which is always a plus down in an area where cell service might be sketchy! We went floating on the Current River, took a road trip to Alley Springs, Peck Conservation Area, Round Spring and Rocky Falls. Eminence is a darling town and we had a great burger at Hogan’s grill and then grabbed ice cream at the Dairy Shack. Beautiful, secluded tiny house tucked into the Ozark hills on a working horse ranch. We were lucky to be there when a large trail ride was passing through and got to watch riders come by all day. Very helpful hosts gave us our space but were available to assist with anything if needed. Bonus: ice cream was awesome! ##### rebecca i. Hosts were great to work with. Super clean cabin way back in the woods. Loft beds were comfortable. Really cool place-looks even better in person than in the pics. The cabin was great and the view was awesome.
