The lobby area is basic with two small front desks and seating area. There isn't any security measures in place so anyone can just walk in and go into the lifts up the the rooms without using a key card. There room layout is unusual where the toilet is more like one on an airplane, very claustrophobic! The bathroom facilities are separate where you have to step up into the 'plastic area', all feeling very cheap especially the shower doors which didn't close properly so you run the risk of flooding the floor. We had an instance where the housekeeping just walked in the room not once but twice without knocking first, even with do not disturb on the door. We brought this up with the management but they said there's nothing they can / won't do (There are no cameras in the corridors either). The ac just about worked but faced the wall not into the room??? To top thinks off my partner woke up with bites all over her body which were from bedbugs!! The city is nice with lots to see and do, so don't let this review put you off visiting Berlin!
