Our room was perfect, very clean and right on the beach. We enjoyed the beach bar while lounging on the provided chairs. The Club restaurant was great for the free breakfast and we ate dinner there both nights we stayed. It was great to be shuttled. To the ferry and enjoy the day at Mackinac Island.

The units are small renovated apartments. They are clean and nice decorations. However there was no toilet paper and when I texted the number I had used to get our keyless entry info I received no response. There was shower gel in the corner of the bathroom but no shampoo. Not was there a top sheet in the bed only a comforter. It did serve our needs for the 2 nights we were there.

If you prefer to be away from the hustle & bustle, this place is for you. My husband & I stayed at Stonecliffe for 5 days & we would not consider any other hotel on the Island. The grounds are immaculate & spacious. Nice restaurants, walking trails, bike rentals, a General Store. We stayed in The Mansion & our room was beautifully comfortable. We highly recommend Stonecliffe for your Island stay.

"Room 119 needs the floor swept and mopped. Our socks after walking around the room a little bit were nearly black on the bottom. Nothing like getting out of the shower and stepping on a little pebble. And we didn’t wear shoes into the room."
