Compact with everything we needed (but no shampoo or shower gel). Only a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal which is a big plus (no parking worries). Our only negative was the loud noise of the fridge compressor overnight.

The Inn on Mackinac did an excellent job. Staff was great, from calling me to let me know our room was ready early, to delivering our luggage to the room and sending it to Mackinac City upon our return. We enjoyed a nice continental breakfast with gluten-free options, as well as a relaxing dip in the spa pool. Our room was quiet and comfortable. I can’t think of a nicer place to stay on Mackinac Island.
