It was exceptionally well-maintained, spotless, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better.What truly sets this place apart is the host's attention to detail. They thought of every little touch you could imagine, from a perfectly stocked kitchen and plenty of extra linens to cozy setup details that made us feel instantly at home. You can really tell the owners take immense pride in this property.If you are looking for a quintessential, worry-free Northwoods escape, this is it. We will definitely be back!"

"David was great with communicating. Very quick to respond. We rented both Loon and Grand. Beautiful place to stay. It had everything we could want - great parking, kitchen was well stocked, as was the bedroom, bathroom and the entire lodge. Great location too. Snowmobile trails were very close. "

"Our August family summer vacation on Strand Island was perfect. Large cabin with many rooms for the large group we had. Plenty of space inside, the wrap around porch was absolutely perfect for games and the kids loved the swinging beds. We made use of the large outside field area and had many competitive games of wiffle ball. The swimming area was great, and the kayaks were used daily. The views and sunsets were amazing. We definitely recommend Strand Island for a large group get away."

"Very nice house, clean, and easy with nice backyard and lots of room and amenities! Everything was just as represented by the owner. Such a nice house with a great setup. Cook is an awesome small community! Wonderful breakfast and lunch options at coffee shop downtown. Cool theater which we have went to before but it was closed when we were in town. Clean grocery store. Moosebirds ice cream up the road! What could be better?!? "
