Amazing views in Ellicottville
Views can't be beat from the living room. Amazingly comfortable for our group of 9 adults. Plenty of amenities to accommodate a large group. Quiet, cozy, and a short 10 minute drive to the nearby town and slopes. Beds were very comfortable!

50 th Anniversary Memory
Perfect house for family gathering…the game room was a great place for the cousins to hangout and have fun…Meanwhile, the adults just relaxed. The house was fully equipped with anything you could possibly need. We had such a great time nobody wanted to leave. The only down fall was the Bills losing their game.

Perfect House and Close to Town
House layout and size was perfect for our family! Everything was clean and the kids loved the basement games and outdoor space. The view did not disappoint either :) My only disappoints were that the washer and dryer were not working, so I couldn't wash any of my kids clothes, which I was planning for. One of the 2nd floor bedroom doors didn't fully latch either, so when the basement door opened that bedroom door would swing open, which scared our 3 year old trying to nap and sleep at night. Other than those two things, it was a great trip for our family!

Great property a short distance to town and ski slopes. Very clean and space was plentiful for 7 guests. Beds could be a little more comfortable but overall, a great place to stay in Ellicottville. Great game room and the outside amenities were clean and a perfect way to relax after skiing.

Friends Trip!!
This place is exactly as advertised. I’ve never seen a rental so clean and well stocked. The owners thought of everything and the location was perfect. You can see the slopes and are just a 4 minute drive into town. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful retreat location
For 12 moms looking to escape their responsibilities for the weekend, this was a perfect retreat. Clean, quiet, and well stocked with basic necessities - we especially appreciated the hairdryers and shampoo/body wash/conditioner that came with the chateau. The owners were wonderfully responsive to the few questions we had, and we immensely appreciated the giant table that let us all sit together for meals. 10/10 would recommend.

Family vacation
My family of ten, with 4 kids under 10 and 2 dogs, enjoyed the house and the area. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen and grill were great for large family meals. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit and the small backyard was ok for badminton. The area had plenty to do including an alpaca farm, Holiday Valley for their coaster, tree climbing and gem finding, and we had dinner (with the dogs) at a few of the local breweries. Overall it was a good vacation.

Great home for large families
We really enjoyed our stay here. Very large home that easily accommodated two families with teens. Beds were very comfortable. Nice quiet street and only a short drive to town or the ski hill.

We had a great weekend skiing and really enjoyed coming back to relax. The sauna and hot tub were a lovely way to be welcomed back from the slopes. The large kitchen and open living room made it fun to cook meals and enjoy super bowl fun. The beds were AMAZING!

We had a great time staying at the Chalet! Great location, so close to town and the slopes. The views were amazing especially the view from the hot tub- very relaxing! Very clean and spacious. Well stocked with plenty of amenities. Beds were comfortable and the downstairs game room was a great treat. Hosts were very friendly and responded quickly.

Experience EVL in style!
The Après Chalet did not disappoint! If you're looking for a turnkey vacation home that mixes comfort and luxury, this is it. From the amenities to the view of the slopes, Après Chalet had it all. Dean and Vicki were great hosts and provided us with everything we needed to enjoy our snowy ski vacation. It's close to the slopes, tubing, and town. We really couldn't ask for anything more, we will definitely be coming back!

Great cozy home close to town, skiing and hiking
Very nice location just outside downtown Ellicottville, close to ski slopes, hiking areas, shopping, restaurants. Up on a hill with a beautiful view of ski slopes. Very clean, very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of towels, bedding, extra blankets. Comfortable beds and very nice furniture in great condition . Our group of teens, young adults and adults all had enough personal space, yet great gathering areas as well. Fun table games in the lower common space. Hot tub and sauna were wonderful after skiing and winter hiking. Host was very easy to work with, provided all the information we needed and responded quickly to a few questions we had. Added bonus - most of the light switches are labled so there is no need to turn on everything to figure out the lighting/fans/heating, etc. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful property!
We just loved staying at this chalet. I figured it would Be a great experience as the reviews told the story. We had 14 people and plenty of room. It was super clean and well equipped as we had our family Christmas dinner there. The hot tub and sauna we also used and really enjoyed. Got a little spoiled. Will be back. Thank you Dean and Vic for being so prompt on getting back to Me whenever I had a question. The Connolly Crew!!!

Spectacular!!
We absolutely loved our stay at the chalet. Our host, Dean, was extremely responsive and accommodating with all requests (response times were received within minutes). The property is beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. We had a wonderful time with our children. We also got lucky on our last day and had a nice snowfall to wake up to! We enjoyed s’more’s at the fire pit and enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Do not hesitate to book here! You will not be disappointed!

The perfect EVL vacation spot
This property was better than expected. It was more than enough for our adult group of 9. Had everything we needed. Great layout, well decorated, and perfect location (not too far from town, but far enough for a great view). We just had the best time and are already talking about coming back.

Plenty of space!
We stayed here as a group of 4 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs. We had plenty of space for everyone. The house was clean, nicely decorated and had such a fun atmosphere. Beds were comfy, nice linens and towels. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking items you could need. The outdoor space is great. We loved the nightly fires around the firepit and the views! The only downside was that the dogs got ticks on them whenever we took them outside, so we didn't let the kids play in the woods around the house since we didn't bring bug spray. The house had plenty to do though - we all loved the games in the basement. So glad we chose this space!

Wonderful vacation house- clean, cozy and wonderful views!
We had a great stay at this house. We came with our large family with 7 little kids under the age of 12 and there was plenty of room for everyone! The game room was a huge hit and the views were magnificent. As well as the many smart TV's! The kitchen was clean and spacious and really enhanced our stay. Two of the upstairs bedrooms were a little bit hot in the afternoons, but within hours of emailing Dean about this, he responded very quickly and sent over 2 large fans that fixed the problem and made the rooms very comfortable again! We really appreciated his quick response! Also, last minute, we requested an early check-in and he was very accommodating of our request- even though it was so last minute and that was a lifesaver so we didn't have to wait around with our kids for a couple hours! Would definitely stay again!

The home was lovely. Just a few comments, the living room furniture had loose cushions and was uncomfortable and the shower water pressure was low. The internet continuously lost the signal which made it difficult to watch the bedroom TV’s. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room for the 8 of us.

We’re very happy to hear you enjoyed our chalet, Ruth, and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! :) We reset the internet box and worked from the chalet yesterday on Zoom and it's now running smoothly. Our plan includes unlimited data with speeds of 50-100 Mbps. It’s cell tower based and we’ve seen it drop to the 25-50 Mbps range in times of peak tower usage. During storms it normally hold up well but it can be intermittent. Our sofa against the great room window is a modern/lower profile sofa to maximize the view of the slopes - we’ve also added several chairs in that room & a leather sofa in the basement for those not preferring the lower profile. We hope to welcome you back to our Après Chalet!

We went as a group of moms that needed to get away after home schooling our kids for the last year because of covid. The owner was amazing! Anytime I had a question he answered almost immediately! The house was BEAUTIFUL! And it’s fully stocked with every essential you need! Shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, beach and bath towels, robes, etc!! We had so much fun. So glad we found this house. Super close to everything, salt cave was so relaxing, Ellicottville Distillery off of Robin was good, Balloons was good, the taco place was great! We had a blast and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Great rental
The whole process from booking, checking in and communicating while we were on property was great. The house was perfect for our family and we loved having our pets along with us for a little getaway. Proximity to town was convenient for us to go out to eat and hit up the stores if we. needed anything. We have rented a ton of places thru VRBO and hands down this was the most comfortable stay we've had somewhere. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

The Chalet was an absolute perfect place for a peaceful retreat with our family! The exceptional WiFi and stunning views also created a serene backdrop for a little bit of downtime work to be done. The house was extremely clean and had all of amenities we needed, including shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the showers, towels and linens, and the kitchen was stocked as well. Dean was a pleasure to work with, and communicated with us throughout our stay. We will be back!!

Awesome Place for Family and Friends!
This chalet is unbelievable! It’s very well designed and decorated, spacious for groups and was immaculately clean. Check-in was very easy with a code on the door. Wifi worked great. We were pleasantly surprised to see a barrel sauna had been added after we had booked. A night of the hot tub & sauna followed by a bonfire & night views of the ski hill was perfect! We couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks so much and we’ll be back this summer.

Best VRBO property to date!
This place was unbelievable! Newly renovated and updated. The views of the town below and the ski resorts was awesome! My wife and I highly recommend this incredible home!

Best house in town!
We had a excellent weekend thanks to ownership! Comments were made all weekend long how it’s the best house anyone has stayed at in Eville. House link was shared with many other interested friends. Layout of the house and new renovations passed our expectations for sure. We will be back next year! Strongly suggest this house if your heading to Eville!

New Year’s Eve ski vacation 2020
We loved our stay at your beautiful ski home. It was decorated so cute and we appreciated all of the room we had, the big kitchen table, the many bedrooms (which also had comfortable mattresses) and the teenagers really loved the games in the basement. The open layout is perfect with the kitchen and family room together.We loved the location- which was really close to skiing and to town but far enough away “in the country” to feel like you had plenty of privacy. The home is surrounded by trees and a beautiful far off view of the mountain which was lit up and beautiful even at night! We did not make use of the hot tub or of the fire pit area but it was still nice that the house has these as an option. We would recommend staying here and hope to be back. Thank you for helping to make the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 so amazing.
