"We stayed there on two nights about 8 days apart. The hotel is nicely updated with an attended breakfast bar. For the price it is affordable, quiet and pleasant and the lobby/dining area is bright with natural light from many windows. It's nice that it also has a wine/beer bar and a dinner restaurant, although we didn't try them because of our diet preferences. There were kids swarming the hot tub so we did not go to the pool area on either visit. The breakfast tables needed to be cleaned off when we went down, staff was milling around because the power had gone out so perhaps that was a distraction."

The room was clean and felt safe facing the pool courtyard. Ice makers on various floors were out of service but a lobby level machine was offered. The hotel is well located downtown for walkability; the casino is small and low-key."
