Lovely lady greeted me on arrival and even carried my suitcase up the stairs for me. Room was clean and comfortable bed. Elswick park just down the road and free car parking opposite the hotel. 25 min down hill walk to city centre. Made use of the complimentary tea/coffee and real milk!! Handy convenience store next door. I would stay again.

This is a very basic hotel, likely in need of some modernisation, however, rooms were clean. Shower and bath have great water pressure and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and buffet style with plenty of choice.

The facilities weren’t great.
Having to pay to store luggage at accomodation that you have paid feels a bit like a rip-off.
Rooms were cramped, with little privacy and a bathroom that was tiny and dirty.
Staff were nice enough, and the free coffee was decent
