"I stayed here for a graduation at MIU. I flew from New York to DSM International Airport and drove 2 hours to get there. The hotel was cleaner than what I thought. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and not bad at all. Room was very clean. I really can't complain about this place. I thought it was going to be worse but it wasn't. On the contrary, it was clean and well maintained. I would recommend it."

"Rooms were clean and large. Bed was comfortable. AC worked well. Skip the restaurant. Half the menu is unavailable. The burger was small, poorly executed, and overpriced. Staff is good if you can find them. Front desk is unmanned, but there are numbers to call for check in. Overall good value for a night or two stay. There are places to eat close buy in town."

"This property is the perfect little haven. My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday here, and it was so much more than we could’ve hoped for. It was serene, with lots of nature activity from frogs, fish, turtles, and birds. The home itself is pristine, modern and had everything we needed. We loved sitting by the camp fire, playing yard games, grilling, and our favorite was taking the canoe out for an afternoon of fishing. Pure bliss. Karen went above and beyond by honoring a special request as well. We LOVED this place and can’t wait to return."
