Lakefront, 4bed/2Ba, quiet cove & private dock A very modern home that comes with its own private dock, boat slip (w/shore power) and lots of fun in the sun! We updated our home both upstairs and down in the last two years. Everything is complete to make this home shine including entry foyer with built-ins, hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances & new light fixtures throughout. This home lives LARGE with 2 living areas, 4 Bedrooms, and 320 square feet of screened porch with open patio below. There is even a loft for the kids to get away by climbing the handmade 'skateboard' ladder! Outdoor living and dock time is what this property is all about and the outside will not disappoint with 16 feet of water depth at the end of the concrete dock, a swim platform and shaded area for seating, covered12'X32' boat slip, covered 12'X12' pwc slip, 2 kayaks, gas grill, beautiful natural landscaping, space to relax by the seawall, basketball hoop, open storage for water toys, and parking for up to 4 vehicles for plenty of visitors. If you love to fish, there is no better place with crappie beds galore and fish habitat that have been developed over many years. Crappie, bass, and catfish all live, troll, and scavenge under our dock. If wetting a line isn't your thing but being by the water is, we still have plenty of fun opportunities like swimming, kayaking, or just floating around. The water is calm and quiet with little-to-no boat traffic making docking your boat a cinch. The Main Channel can still be seen from the dock for a great view and watching cruisers and go-fast boats buzz by. If you bring or rent a boat, you can boat around and pull skiers/tubers in an adjacent cove (Birdsong Hollow Cove) without even entering the Main Channel. Located at the 3MM, you are still within easy boating distance from great amenities like parasailing, main channel boating and views, waterfront restaurants like Coconuts, Jolly Rogers, Frankie & Louie's, Tap & Grill, H. Toads, Shady Gators, Lazy Gators, and The Boathouse. The Boathouse is part of Village Marina, which is just a 5 minute walk or boat ride, and is a popular spot for both locals and visitors with indoor and outdoor seating and a heated pool. The marina offers first class marina service with boat/pwc rental, boat launch, gas, and gear shop. If you want to get away by car, you can visit the Bagnell Dam and Strip area which offers shopping, arcade games, and old time photos. Osage National is just a 15 min drive that offers the best golfing and scenery at the Lake. Ha Ha Tonka State Park is a 30 min drive and has hiking, caves, and scenic views. We maintain this property with love and care. The cove is small and quaint and has a number of full time residents. Out of respect for our neighbors, if you are seeking a party pad, this location is not for you. The property is beautifully situated on the Northshore, which is the closest shoreline to the St. Louis area with easy access off of Highway 54 and Highway W. We would love to share our property with you, so you too can enjoy the beautiful cove and relaxing atmosphere. The house was in a perfect location - quiet cove for the kids to swim in but we could still see the main channel. The private dock was great to fish off of, watch the kids swim, have a cocktail and watch the sunset. We had plenty of space in the house for the kids to watch a movie and play games without being on top of the parents all the time. The place was clean and well kept and having a dock and slip was a huge plus. A bit of advice for those who don’t want to make several trips back and forth on the stairs and slope from the house to the lake… we would have loved being able to spend the day at the dock with a place to sit and eat. It would have been the whole package. Many if not all of our neighbor’s docks had a place to sit and enjoy with a table so they could snack and eat and drink and fish all simultaneously. This dock does not have a table. Just plastic chairs are available. Other than that it is a fun, well stocked, clean, enjoyable place to stay! Oh! I was surprised that our instructions upon leaving told us to strip the beds but leave the comforters and pillow shams as is. We had a great time other than the host. When we arrived we went to the dock to sit and enjoy the evening after a long car ride. Upon un stacking the dock chairs we Noticed one was broke and just left it on top of another chair and sat on it that way. Once we left the host notified us that we broke a chair and insisted that we pay for it. I let her know it was broke once we got there but she said she had video of use breaking it which was a lie since it was broke when we got there. One of the kids had dropped a chair in the water and instantly reached down and grabbed it and continued sitting in it. However because she saw that happen she tried to insinuate that was how the chair broke. However if that was how the chair broke then how would he have continued sitting in it?! Also she accused us of having 11 people instead of 10\. I have never in my life been so insulted by a host. It’s also weird that they sit next door and watch every move u make. Also if we knew they could see us then why would we lie about anything. Also in the Vrbo listing it says you are able to use the marina there however u do have to pay to use it. That was not listed. 50$ to put a boat in and 50$ to take your boat out. That little bit of information would have been appreciated. If we had broke anything we would have definitely replaced it before even leaving and made the host aware. ##### Melissa B.
