My only regret about our stay was we didn't get to use the sauna; we were beat from a long day. But, we were treated to a Northern Lights show in the wee hours of the night, after the clouds parted. We enjoyed the peace and quiet after touring all day. The road to get there, 535, was full of pot holes that we had to carefully avoid. However, on the 2nd to last day of our trip they regraded 90% of the road which made it a lot better. The beds were very comfortable. The host was kind and communicative making everything easy before we got there. We really enjoyed our stay!" Owner was in communication very early through the process, provided access information well in advance (which is great because there have been times I've had to call owners to get access when I'm sitting at the property), and the location provided easy access to the West and Southern areas of Iceland. Well it was just my wife and I, the place was more spacious than I expected, and two couples or a couple with children could easily stay here and be comfortable. The solitude was also brilliant, because it allowed for some excellent night time photography while there. Planning to go back next summer so my wife can see the puffins, and this will be the first place I check to see if they are available when we return."
