She was welcoming and extremely responsive and polite. The house itself is small but was perfect for our family of four, plus the firepit/outaide area was huge. We were able to bring our own boat and dock it at the pier which is a short walk from the cabin. Kayaks and paddleboard were available. The little private beach is what really made our trip special. The kids (and dog) had an absolute blast playing in the sand and swimming while me and my wife enjoyed the sun and drinks! Everyone we ran into was friendly and the lake is the perfect size. We had the most luck fishing from the pier and caught a few keepers. Wifi and air conditioning was a huge plus as well. Overall we had an amazing time and couldnt have asked for better hosts. ##### Nick B. The space is cozy & clean. Everything is updated & comfortable. The movie selection was awesome! It was nice to be able to login to streaming too. It was cooler outside when we were there, but putting on the fireplace for a little bit took the chill out of the cabin quickly. The fire pit area was so relaxing to sit around a fire or just sit and enjoy the peacefulness of the woods. The walk to the small beach & pier was quick. We waded in the water and played with our pup right at the beach and had a blast. Bring bag chairs for the beach & pay attention to the times the dump is open for your trash because it can’t be left at the property. Those are my only suggestions/tips. Jeri was kind & super quick & responsive. Very easy to work with. Thank you so much for being a pet-friendly place. We loved our time at this cabin with our dog. We hope to stay again in the future. I came up here for a little get away with my mom and dog and we enjoyed ourselves so much we extended our trip a full day. The cabin is small but has a fantastic lay out so you dont feel like you're crowding eachother. The decore is the perfect mix of goofy, classic, and cozy. Plenty of storage and places to hang jackets and such. The outdoor area includes a fire pit, a hammock, and a lovely picnic table that we spent ample time at. The beach is just a 2-3 minute walk down the way, and is clearly marked and accessible enough for an arthritic pitbull. \*my only note and this is not a reflection on the property or owners at all\* If your dog is reactive to other dogs do not turn right out of the driveway when going for a stroll. There are two very sweet but very off leash free range dogs down the way. The dogs listened when told to go home and kept they're distance so we had no issues. We instead now turn left and go around the neighborhood that way, or walk to the beach. No issues that way at all so far 😊. Again, not an issue with the property, just country dogs being country dogs. Would probably be a delightful surprise for most folks! ##### Rose S.
