Lovely setting, quiet and clean. However, we checked in on a hot day and it was well over 80 degrees in the unit with no way to cool the space. The two fans did move the air a bit but it was stifling inside. We slept with the windows open and it was down to 72 degrees inside by morning but it was a long night. The second night was more of the same, we returned from a wedding at it was 84 degrees inside and the host had turned off the fans while we were out. The other easy fix that needs attention is the shower head. It leaks and has only one mostly functioning setting that is a small, high pressure blast of water. Easy fix that I’m sure will be addressed.

Thanks to Maura for hosting us in her guest casita while we spent a lovely few days in Taos. She was welcoming and provided clean, comfortable, well-appointed accommodations with much needed peace and quiet, serene desert views, and time away from our busy schedules. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Mountain View’s and very clean, Comfortable living space. Enjoyed the area - dirt roads were a bit tricky at first, but able to navigate.

Clean, well maintained apartment

This is a nice one bedroom apartment attached to a home just north of the town of Taos. It is minutes away from Taos, Taos Pueblo and Rio Grande Gorge. The host is friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful studio in lovely El Prado

This is our second stay in Maura’s lovely studio. The beds are comfortable and the kitchenette is amply supplied. The dining room table has windows so you can watch the beautiful Northern New Mexican sunsets.

Beautiful Suite. Seated on a bluff with mountains 360. Beds were very comfortable, and the Suite was tastefully decorated. The outside has an architectural arbor with bench ad chairs for early am coffee or late afternoon cocktail. Maura is great about communication. I highly recommended this place to all my adult children and their spouses.

Beautiful weekend retreat

The property is as stunning if not more stunning than the pictures provided. The view is absolutely spectacular. The studio space is very tastefully decorated, very clean and perfect for two people. The location is also great. It is just outside of the main town so the views of the mountain are spectacular, but it is just under 10 minutes to drive into Taos proper, a very short drive. Would highly recommend this property and we will definitely stay there again.

Really enjoyed our short stay

We only spent three nights and could have stayed longer. Place was very nice, clean and well supplied. No oven but that was no problem. A quiet place a couple of miles out of Taos. Great views. The flowers were just starting to bloom. Maura was a great host.

Perfect, quiet retreat on the edge of Taos. Easy access to downtown square area and dining options on Hwy 150 the opposite direction. Maura’s hospitality was exceptional.
