Such a relaxing place and perfectly located . The booking process was super easy and the owner was quick to answer any questions I had before arriving. 10/10 recommend!!
Everything about our stay at Luna Vista was wonderful! From the reservation process to the check-out process, everything went smoothly!Sally and Madrona were quick to respond to questions or concerns. The house was well equipped, and the location is perfect.I strongly encourage this property as a VRBO!We wil return
Great location and great house! Had everything we needed.
Wonderful VRBO! We were greeted upon arrival and had a lovely tour. We cooked several dinners in, and the kitchen had every amenity we needed. Living, dining and bedtooms are huge and spacious, plenty of towels, and the hot tub was a great treat after skiing. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!!!
Check-in to check-out was really easy. The kitchen has nearly everything you need. All appliances worked. Bed was comfortable. Hot tub was relaxing. Was there for a week and served our family well.
Great Mountain View’s from all directions Even during record setting heat this adobe home was extremely comfortable with only a fan. Madrona was there if we needed and the location was great for day trips
Luna Vista provides beautiful views of the mountains and inside showcases art and an authentic southwest vibe. The casa provides all the comforts of home. We appreciate the hospitality of the owner and property manager which is why this is the only place we will stay in the Taos area.
Property was great. Beware of the aggressive dog on the corner of Lower Las Colonias. Easy drive to skiing. Enjoyed the hot tub in the sub zero temps outside.
My family loved staying in this beautiful home. Spectacular views, private, gracious and comfortable and full of books and art. Easy distance to everything we wanted to do in town. Dark skies for stargazing, windows on all sides to watch the light changing and snow falling and birds appearing everywhere after the storm. The perfect place to enjoy everything we love about spending time in Taos.
My husband and I wanted to get away for alittle R&R. House had beautiful views, had everything we needed. Very quiet area and don’t be put off by speed bumps(not a big deal) and the little bit of gravel road is smooth and not an issue.Love the southwestern vibe.
House with wonderful mountain views in two directions. Once we got our bearings, location was easy to get to and to get to downtown Taos area. House was very comfortable with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ample space to relax in living and dining rooms. Kitchen had all appliances one would need. Since we stayed a full month, we settled in nicely. Property manager greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the property. Would stay again.
Home was beautiful and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for an extended stay. It is a bit far from the center of town and with snow it was at times challenging but the kiva fireplace and hot tub made the commute over the unpaved road worth it. Thank you to Madrona for being a great caretaker and available when you need information.
It is a Taos appropriate home. We were looking for a vacation stay that would let us get a local flavor of how locals live. This home did that for us, we were never in a big hurry to leave because the home is comfortable & appointed nicely. We’d walk to the end of the road each night to watch the spectacular sunsets. The area is quiet & peaceful. There are some funky homes in the area but that’s Taos, the area did feel safe. We’d definitely stay here again. Getting to the Taos Plaza or Arroyo Seco is easy.
Great house, great views of mountains in the day, and Taos lights at night. Fairly easy access to most everything from here. My only whiney complaint which has nothing to do with the house are the unavoidable, numerous, randomly spaced speed bumps on the last mile of pavement to the area. If you don't pay attention, just going 25mph down to road will put your head to the roof of your vehicle. A bit overdone.
So I didn’t get to stay at this property- my husband and young adult son stayed here while on a short ski trip. They loved it. Husband said the house was amazing- beds comfy- clean- house even had some coffee in freezer!! Maybe I can go next year and we can get this place again! First hand, communication with the house manager, Madrona, was great! She was extremely responsive and helpful throughout my hubs and kid’s stay. Recommend 💯!
Quiet and lovely 4-day stay. The house was clean, had comfy furniture, open floor plan, and the kitchen had everything I needed. The property manager lives in a casita next door and was very accommodating and helpful. I was solo on this trip and enjoyed the stars, views of Taos Mountain out the kitchen and living room windows, and the hot tub under the car port. To access the bathroom for the master bedroom you go out to the hall. There are 8 speed bumps depending which way you go to town, but it slows traffic down. The dirt road is a dead end and you can ’t really hear the main road. Thanks for your helpfulness and quick responses. I will return!
