No one was at the front desk for 15 minutes upon arrival. The breakfast bar had someone cleaning the floor who continued to sweep while we stood there waiting to eat. There was no water or excessive waste that needed immediate sweeping. The bar was half empty and the sweeping staffer said oops that she had not checked to see if it was stocked. Staff all needs training.

SPIDEY senses were TINGLING
I still have nightmares about this still and it’s been a little over a month later. Five weeks ago the hotel was under construction and such so wasn’t expecting much in the first place since this La Quinta had the cheaper deal compared to the hotels surrounding it. During the evening when we were getting ready for bed my wife found this HUGE spider 🕷️ in the hotel bathroom crawling towards our one-year old. My wife screamed as she cannot stand spiders, and grabbed out one-year old. Since I’m a crazy fella, I grabbed one of the coffee cups, captured it, and stuck the fat sucker in a Walmart bag. Took it downstairs to show the evening shift desk lady and she acted like she wasn’t surprised. 😆 We were pretty paranoid of spiders the rest of our stay there. The breakfast was also very mediocre, but once again, cheaper hotel compared to the others. I promised my wife we won’t stay at this hotel again.

Wonderful place.
Rooms was really clean and comfortable. All the employees was really friendly. I was really late checking in, about 7ish, and called to let them know and was told it was no problem.

Nasty pool
The hotel had no stairs or elevator and had to pack my heavy luggage upstairs. The pool was filthy. The water was black in the pool
