"Very roomy, great for family and visitors. There were ants in the kitchen but otherwise clean. However, the linens we rented were not clean, and didn’t fit well. The company they use for cleaning and linens are not friendly for guests coming from another country. They said to pay after the visit and then made us pay prior but gave us no options to pay from the US. Then we had to have a family member pay it and reimburse us which cost us extra money because of transaction fees. Would not rent...

Lilla Trulla Gårdshotell - Feels like home

10/10 Excellent

The previous high ratings are well deserved. If you don't mind the minor "smell of the country-side" (which you DO NOT notice inside) this is what a B&B experience should be! Impeccable service and great "home feel". Stayed over-night alone with two small kids on a road trip. They did everything in their power to make our experience a pleasant one, despite arriving after the official reception closing, late in the evening and in the pouring rain (umbrella provided :-)

We stayed twice in the same room. The first time we arrived from the airport at 23:00. We were given instructions about how to get into the hotel and our room. We had never experienced this type of hotel before. The room had a kitchenette and you were expected to cater for yourself. Fortunately there were some tea bags and coffee grounds, so we could make a drink (albeit without milk). Had to stop on our way the day after for breakfast. We were more prepared on the second visit. We arrived...

Vallåsens Värdshus - Hostel

8/10 Good

Despite a very rainy stay (which has nothing to do with what the Hostel can influence ;-), we really enjoyed the stay (family with teenagers)! A clean, warm and nice room to stay with clean bed linen and towels, shower and toilet in the room and easy access (indoors) to the guest kitchen (which is actually two huge cooking spaces, very clean, tidy and equipped) with space in the fridge for each guest. Pool and ping pong table available (no cost!) and a great sauna! A lake nearby, which we did...
