Covering an area of 90m2, bright, spacious and quiet. Our cottage is ideally located in the historic heart of the small wine-growing town of Eguisheim (1800 inhabitants). Eguisheim "elected the favorite village of the French" is 5 km from Colmar. Our geranium cottage is on the second floor of a half-timbered house comprising: Two large bedrooms (a 160 / 200cm bed and 2 90 / 200cm beds), a large dressing room that will contain your personal belongings, a large functional bathroom with bath and shower, a separate toilet, a '' a large open fitted kitchen opening onto a beautiful living room with a large corner sofa. The beds are ready for your arrival, the towels are provided and the end of stay cleaning is included in our price. We provide free high chair, changing mat, bath and cot on request. Toys are available for children as well as table football, a table tennis table and a punching bag. The color palette is warm and soothing. A warm welcome is reserved for you. Free private garage attached to the house that can accommodate your car and your bikes or public parking paying 3 € per day not far from our cottage (100m). There is a parking space reserved for the disabled at the foot of our property. Non smoking apartment. Bakery, butcher, delicatessen, caterer, grocery-tobacco-press as well as many restaurants are close to our rental. Its discovery is never complete since it changes over the 4 seasons, each time presenting a different aspect. Eguisheim, a magical village, wants to remain this town that we visit but also this land where we return. Yes, life is good in the heart of the flowers and the vineyard in Eguisheim ... Fortified city from1257, Eguisheim is proud of its picturesque concentric alleys with half-timbered houses richly flowered (City classified 4 flowers). \- National Grand Prize, since 1989 and gold medal in the European floral arrangement competition in 2006). Sixteen colongerous courtyards, fountains, the parish church houses a polychrome wooden sculpture known as the 'opening Virgin'. This 13th and 14th century work is the only example of this type in Alsace. The lower Château d'Eguisheim, on Place Saint-Léon, is backed by an octagonal enclosure characteristic of the 13th century, made of bossed stones. Thicker than 2 meters in places, this wall was surrounded by water ditches, drained in 1835\. The castle is only accessible as part of guided tours offered by the tourist office. Alsace is very proud! It recently has a new distinction as gratifying as its landscapes are beautiful and its villages in bloom. It was a great place to explore the region. Colmar is an easy 15 minutes ride and spent a fun day touring it. We also toured the Route de Vin, went to EuropaPark, and the Vosges Mountains. The town is charming, as are the storks. The house is well equipped for cooking, which we did every evening. The ping pong table on the ground floor was fun to use as well. Thanks! ##### Matt G. Truly charming in every respect! We had a wonderful time in the Geranium cottage! We were able to spread out and relax when we weren't walking through vineyards and gorgeous villages! We watched the white storks in their nests right from our bedroom window! And it was fun to watch the daily going ons in the street below. It was great to have a washing machine and a place to park! Thank you thank you! Eguisheim was so beautiful and everyone is so friendly! I loved heading downstairs to pick up bakery goods in the mornings and walking around the village to decide where to have dinner, while stopping to taste wines, whiskeys and Cremant d'Alsace! Every restaurant was so delicious I can't even pick a favorite! It was fun to pick out souvenirs at Tania's store up the street and get pretzels from local vendors! The hard part was to choose which other villages to go to as there were so many choices! We enjoyed Kaysersberg, Turckheim as well as an eye opening visit to a World War I monument in the Vosges mountains called the Linge monument and museum. ##### Regina F. Die Vermieterin ist mega nett und hilfsbereit. Das Objekt liegt mitten im Ort und wir konnten alle Aktivitäten von dort starten. Um mit dem Auto in die Garage zu kommen, muss man schon häufiger rangieren, da die kleinen Gassen/Straßen sehr eng sind. Aber wir haben es gut geschafft. Zu erwähnen sei für sehr große Menschen, dass die Deckenhöhe nicht sehr hoch ist. Ansonsten war alles total super und wir würden jederzeit sehr gerne wieder kommen. ##### Beate N. Stockwerk mit relativ steilen Treppen, nicht für Gehbehinderte geeignet. Eine Garage, mit für größere Autos enger Einfahrt steht zur Verfügung. Sogar eine Waschmaschine und eine Garage sind vorhanden. Das Ein- und Ausparken aus der Garage gestaltet sich wegen der engen Straße allerdings mit einem großen Auto etwas schwierig. Wir haben es mit einem Seat Alhambra aber hinbekommen. :-) Die Vermieterin, Frau Minni, ist super nett und spricht sehr gut deutsch. The property was extremely well equipped and Tania and Yannick were very helpful. Eguisheim offers many restaurants and cellar doors, but also easy access to the countryside for walking or cycling. Tout est parfait, sauf 2eme étage un peu fatiguant pour personnes un peu plus âgée, problème avec le garage. Installation complète impossible avant 19h. Le gîte est très confortable , très bien équipé et bien situé . L'hôtesse est très agréable , serviable et chaleureuse . Tout ceci a participé à cette belle découverte du village et de ses environs . L'appartement loué est fidèle aux descriptions données sur le site d'Abritel : propre, aménagé avec goût, torchons, produits ménagers, draps de bain, linge de lit... tout, vraiment tout y est ! Le logement est idéalement situé pour visiter Colmar et ses environs. La propriétaire est très accueillante et sympathique. Le garage privé est vraiment un plus.
