Wonderful

The house is beautiful and the owner was excellent with communication. We were a group of 7 women and loved the grounds, location and overall comfort of the home. Would definitely stay here again.
Plenty of space, well stocked kitchen plus two more partial kitchens we did not use. Plenty of hot water for eight adults. Quiet location lots of outdoor rooms as well as indoor (fire pit, various deck levels, balcony).
Wonderful place to stay. Close to everything. Host was very friendly and helpful. Log Den Inn was excellent food and service. Both owned by our VBRO hosts.
Great location with beautiful property you can walk. The log home is huge and gorgeous and is well stocked with premium toilet paper! Great communication with hosts, they attended to our every need and had plenty of wood for daily fires outside AND inside! Would definitely rent again!
Stayed here on a girls weekend. Cabin is beautiful and cozy. We had a very large group and we had more than enough room to spread out and be comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We had a wonderful reunion in this beautiful, warm and inviting log cabin. Every detail was thoughtfully done, including the grounds and firepit. We are planning on returning next year.
The cabin is beautiful and clean. Plenty of room. Location was perfect...very peaceful and close to many things to do. We saw deer in the field next to the cabin. The host was very friendly. We definitely will be coming back.
This beautiful cabin was spacious and there was plenty of room for our family of twelve. So many things to do in Door County. We enjoyed it so much! Only disappointment was that the hot tub didn’t work.
This lodge is huge, with plenty of beds. At the same time, the open areas are cozy, an a place where you want to spend time with family. The furniture is comfortable, and very nice. There are kitchen areas on all three levels! There is also a nice game room. The host was super easy to deal with. The Honey Dew Lodge was even nicer than the listing.
Wonderful! So much more than we expected. Plenty of activities available at the cabin and through out Door county. Cabin had everything you could possibly need. Loved the game room and firepit area. Met the owner once during our stay, very nice gentleman! Did inform us there was a problem with their cell phones but could reach them thru the Log Den (their restaurant) felt guilty not vacuming up or stripping beds before leaving but thats me.( he said it wasn't necessary, they'd take care of that.) We will definitely be returning next year!
Very spacious and accommodating. We liked the location that allowed for outdoor family activities. The kids used the swings and we used the fire pit. The property was clean and everyone had their own space to relax and enjoy the down times. The two kitchens really allowed for quiet time in the morning on the main floor. Thank You!
Honey Dew Lodge is a beautiful house and perfect for families with plenty of gathering space as well as multiple areas to spread out. Beautiful setting in the woods. As others have noted, a deep clean and some updates would improve the experience. Overall however we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Kim!
This cabin exceeded my expectation. It is just beautiful, very clean and the location is easy to get to. We had more than enough room for our large group, the kitchen is well stocked to make and serve meals for a crowd.
I had to reach out to Kim a couple times with a few questions and she was very responsive and helpful.
We made some wonderful family memories at the Honey Dew Lodge that we will treasure forever.
We rented the Honey Dew Lodge for a long weekend to spend some quality time with our children and grandchildren. The property had a great fire ring area with lots of seating and plenty of firewood, with a swingset nearby for the grandkids. The attached garage area was a big hit for the grandsons with the foosball and pool table ( no air hockey). The hot tub appears to be out of working order for a long time so might be best if removed or replaced. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans but a new coffeemaker is much needed. The existing one takes 45 minutes to brew a pot of coffee. All in all it is a very nice property for some privacy and to enjoy the outdoors. The owners were very nice and helpful.
We had a great time. Cabin was very clean and had the basic items. Kitchen was well equipped with needed utensils. Trees around the cabin gave a very natural touch. It would have been nice if outside hot tub worked. Kids would have enjoyed it. Some of the door locks can be changed specially from game room to inside of the house. It did not lock.Overall a great stay at this beautiful property.

Honey Dew Lodge
The lodge was beautiful inside and out! There is plenty of bedroom space, kitchen well stocked, nice fire pit area.
Hosts there cleaning when arrived at 2:00 pm. Charcoal grill was dirty. Basement shower needs to have a mat down as very slippery. Hot tub not working.
In need of a few repairs but overall a wonderful experience and stay. We loved it!!!
This magnificent home is an ideal location for family and friends to gather. It is surrounded by woods and fields, and has a large outdoor firepit. The log home, build by hand, has three levels providing plenty of comfortable and relaxing space with all the amenities. We especially enjoyed the decks and balconies for bird watching and star gazing. The kitchen is large, with plenty of cookware and serving dishes. The owners warmly made sure we had everything we needed. The Honey Dew Lodge is the most magnificent home (rental or otherwise) you will find anywhere in Wisconsin.
I rented this property for my dad, all 6 of his children, his grandchildren and spouses to spend Labor Day weekend together ahead of his sister's 60th wedding anniversary party. Given the reason for our visit, there were many family members in the area and we were able to gather around the fire pit and share memories.
14 of us stayed at the house and it never felt crowded.
My only suggestion would be a binder or sheet of instructions for checkout, wifi, and tv. We tried to be helpful by stripping the beds and placing items near the washer but probably ended up making more work for the host.
We will definitely return if the opportunity arises.
Huge property with ample parking space. All the amenities I would expect (except towels, but this is noted in the listing). Main living room area has been somewhat improved since the listing photos were taken and looks somewhat more modern. The restrooms (especially master) have a very 1990's-esque "brass 'n glass" look but were functional. Owner's husband was friendly. Only complaint is there were ants which descended upon our donuts. They didn't bother us besides the donuts being a total loss. There were ant traps in the kitchen so this appears to be a known issue but I informed the owner upon checkout regardless for further investigation. Overall good property, I would consider staying here again.

Enjoy the fall
The house is beautiful. Large and spacious, very close to activities easy access. However, the musty smell in the basement level was too much for us. We tried to air out on a daily basis. We needed to shut the door, and the smell would still come up. We were unable to have anyone sleep on that level. One person in our party became ill and needed to leave early because of this. We were also surprised that there was not some kind of welcome sheet that told how to turn on the heat or what was expected if anything that we should do. We have had that at other VRBO's. No contact with the property manager other than me asking where the keys will be.

Could use updates
We were not given any information on how to get in the cabin. Doors were unlocked when we got there. No binder as to what was expected when leaving as far as stripping beds, sweeping, wifi password. Cabin needs a deep clean. Carpets need attention. Game room was not as described. No air hockey, pool table is in rough shape and Foosball table is held together with ducktape. The pinpong table is a board painted green on a wobbly small kitchen table. The cabin and senery in itself was beautiful. The rooms were spacious. Heating system is wonderful. I would recomend doing a few updates and it could be even better.
Large-group friendly and quiet, beautiful location
Our family of 17 stayed here with ages ranging from a baby 5 months old up to 72 years old. The location gives easy access to anywhere in Door County. There is plenty of parking space for multiple cars, trucks, and even our 2 boat trailers. The fire ring outside had plenty of chairs around it to enjoy, with wood on site. There is a swing set with an infant swing, 2 children’s swings, and slide. There’s an outdoor wooden rocking swing for two in the yard. The large wrap-around deck was great to sit on and enjoy a thunderstorm and listen to nature. Main level: living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom (queen) with no door, 1/2 bath, laundry, master (king) bedroom, jacuzzi tub, shower stall, and access to the deck; attached garage has a pool table, ping pong, and foosball. There were other outdoor games in the garage also. Upstairs level: two twin beds and a queen on the loft, a large bedroom with two queen beds, and another bedroom with a queen. There’s a full bathroom, small kitchen with stovetop, double sink, refrigerator and freezer. There’s a small dining room table and a tv with love seat and a couch. There’s a deck on this level from the small kitchen and another deck outside the room with two queen beds. There are stairs to outside from the room with the loveseat/couch that takes you down to the deck that has a hot tub (broken). The downstairs queen room is quiet and private. Full bathroom, small kitchen with small refrigerator and a table. Door to outside access.
