Lobby was clean but room was dirty. Air conditioning fan was constantly blowing dust. Dust would accumulate within few hours which was really unhealthy for us, I had two children. I reported this to receptionist but nothing was done about it. Blankets weren’t changed at all throughout my 6 night stay. Customer service was extremely poor, had two staffs who were extremely polite, but the rest were horrible, has zero customer service skills.

Always meets high expectations
We've stayed at this hotel a number of times now and it never disappoints. The hotel is well appointed and in great condition and the staff are fantastic friendly and helpful.

Just a fantastic place, absolutely nothing to criticise. We've stayed here a few times and it's always made the trip. The staff are a pleasure. Highly recommended.

Movenpick Stay
Another night at the Movenpick. Sadly we got a smaller bed than normal, so night’s sleep not as good as normal. Hotel was very quiet but as good as normal. The car park charges have rocketed from last stay. Will use the hotel again, but may book direct rather than go through Hotels.com. We are Accor members, but doesn’t help unless you book direct.

Exceptional quality and value for money in a surprise stop when we couldn't make it home in one day and looked for the nearest hotel to the service station we had stopped at. Excellent quality hotel, with a great view over the central Swiss alps and top quality facilities.

Great hotel, except for defunct air condition.
A very good hotel with a friendly staff. Nice big rooms and beds. Great, peaceful location. Only complaint is about the nonfunctioning air condition. Turned it on for 10-15* C. Woke up in the middle of the night sweating.

They charge even for Parking! Which is outdoors on their property, on top of a hill, with nothing else around it... Breakfast also very expensive. Rooms could have better lighting. Charge for dogs also high.

One night stay stopover from UK to Umbria, Italy.
We stayed here on our way through to Italy and it is the most convenient hotel, as well as one of the best, we have ever stayed at. This time they were so kind and, during our meal in the superb restaurant, they went out of their way to wish me "Happy Birthday". They came out with chocolate cake and sparkle, singing, in English, Happy Birthday. Lovely touch and everything was first class. Thank you so much. We will return.

Fantastic hotel
Excellent location, fabulous views and fantastic staff. Child friendly. Free Icrcream tokens given to my children, and what a selection of Ice cream. The only drawback is it is a fair walk to the town centre and the neighbouring town of Olten. Defiantly stay here again.

Movenpick Stop Over February 2015
Stayed again on our way down to Italy. Great stop over. Hotel renovating rooms on top floor so less availability. Didn't impact on us at all. Room nice, but had the feeling that someone had smoked in the room prior to us. Only slight downside this time. Restaurant again excellent and had great meal with friends. Highly recommend this hotel.

In order to reach this hotel, after I went out interchange of the highway, I could easily find the hotel. And very comfortable check in, and the very kind person is leading me to my room.. It is snowy day, when I arrived at the hotel..

Super value for money!
The hotel was very good, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Super value for money! If I could improve something it would be the smell. Fair enough it was snowing heavily and the humidity must have gotten inside (carpets in corridors and rooms), but it did put me down. Apart from this and the location is a little in the middle of nowhere, the hotel was great. Spaghetti restaurant was a plus (travelling with children)

Hotel gave us Assistance/Help
This is our fifth or sixth stay at the hotel. Excellent as usual. We had a puncture on the motorway and the receptionist was able to contact a taxi driver who did find us a tyre distributor that could help replace the tyre. Couldn't have asked for better service.

Nice Hotel
Stay was ok, after we'd changed rooms from our initial room, as that had been used by a smoker who didn't abide by the 'no smoking' policy. Our 2nd room had a much nicer bathroom, so the move was good. We only used the room to sleep in, however after a lovely meal of fondue in Basel, we had ice-cream in the hotel's café, which was delicious. I was disappointed that breakfast was the same price for children as it was for adults, which led to us not eating breakfast later the next day, after we'd checked out, as I thought the price was excessive.
