"We’ve just checked out of this lovely hotel, having spent 4 nights here. Our room was really nice and quiet with a comfortable bed and was cleaned daily. The only slightly negative point being the shower, it does what it is meant to do but don’t expect a power shower (I am being really picky I know) whilst the hotel does not have AC in the bedrooms, each room has a fan in it and we opened the windows at night to get some air in. It was in the 30’s when we were out here and we didn’t struggle sleeping. Fabulous breakfast each morning with a large selection of items but we didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening so we cannot comment on their evening menu or service. The hotel is in an excellent location to explore all the WW2 sits and is also in the town centre so very close to shops and restaurants. All the staff we had contact with were very professional and friendly. Tip - if you need a parking space at the hotel, make sure to reserve a space in advance. There are limited parking spaces here and they go quickly. I only found this out when I contacted the hotel in advance about something else and happened to mention we were driving to them. Overall, a beautiful hotel and we would stay here again"

"Staff were so welcoming. Room was clean, bathroom was recently updated and had a/c which was so nice with abnormally higher temps. The hotel fit the look of the city and was yet modern in the room. They offered laundering service which was so helpful. Hotel was very walkable to the numerous cafe’s. Great place would recommend to book here."

"The property is beautiful and in a very nice location to several Normandy area sites. The staff was kind but not as well informed as a concierge and since they didn’t have one, it seemed to us that this should be remedied. For example we wanted to know about the distillery closest to the hotel and they could not tell us anything even though their products were available for purchase from them. It wasn’t a big thing but a miss that seems pretty easy to address. We would happily stay their again-especially for the reasonable pricing we were charged for this period."
