Fortin Ecomuseum

We were traveling with our six year old on her birthday and came across this property. We were looking in downtown Calvi but were attracted to this property given the proximity to the beach, the pool and water slide and the 2bd/ 2ba accommodations. Overall we had an amazing stay! The beach is incredible. It was also cool to be the only Americans on the property. This was a little hard on our daughter as she couldn’t really make friends but overall she didn’t mind when she went on the water slide about 100 times. Things to note. You have to bring everything down to your hand soap to pool towels. The nice thing is that the store on the property is very reasonably priced and has everything you would need. We would return!

Very remote and scenic great if want to get away from everything. Wifi didn't work.

The hotel is wonderful. The rooms are dated, but bright & clean. Free parking appreciated. Good AC & shower pressure. Heated pool & lush gardens. View of the ocean from the balcony is beautiful. Breakfast was ok & can be improved with more protein choices (salmon?), more variety of fresh fruits & vegetables (avocado?), better coffee than machine. The lady who helped us in the breakfast room was great. Enzo, by the pool, was also wonderful. We enjoyed out time here. You definitely will need a car to visit Bastia old town.
