A stone's throw from the marina, you'll have convenient access to mooring, seasonal kayak rentals and whale watching tours. Revel in the breathtaking views of the sound from the hot tub or picture window seats, the renowned hiking trails, lakes, and Moran State Park, just a five-minute drive away. This home is uniquely located next to the Rosario Village Resort offering additional amenities such as the Harbor Bar & Grill (Memorial Day weekend to mid-September) and the outdoor swimming pool! With 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the top floor, the main floor boasts a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area with a gas fireplace, stunning views, and a four-season room. The living room features a pull-out sleeper sofa, while the four-season room includes a fold-down daybed. A Pack 'n Play is also available for added convenience. The house is beautiful and perfectly decorated. We always cook dinner at our VRBO and this was the best kitchen we've ever had. Everything we needed was there. It was a little rainy and chilly and the fireplace was awesome to sit by with a glass of wine after our afternoon hike. We even got to see otters run out of the side yard and into the lagoon. We will definitely be back on Orcas in the future and will be staying at Newhall House. ##### Colette S. We loved the views and the coziness of the home. The hot tub was lovely. I would say this is a fantastic home for a family, but not two couples. Having a little fenced yard made it easy to sit out there with our dog. The location was great for taking hikes, kayaking, and getting to town. Communication with the owner was fast and we had no issues. The kitchen is well stocked, but just be aware there is no dishwasher (We knew this before going). The reason why I gave a 4 for cleanliness is because there were dust bunnies in drawers and cobwebs in places. Not a big deal, just didn't warrant a 5\. I would have rather given a 4.5\.
