We had a fantastic stay at Kristen’s place this past weekend. Kristen was a wonderful hostess, quick to communicate and very responsive throughout our time there, which made everything smooth and easy.We arrived late at night and had no trouble getting into the house. One small note is that Google Maps initially took us to the opposite side of the alley, which caused a bit of confusion, but once we found the correct street, everything was straightforward from there.The home itself was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were cozy, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms were fully stocked with thoughtful toiletries. The kitchen was especially well-equipped, with more appliances than we expected and a great selection of spices and oils, which was helpful in case we forgot anything.The location in Eastsound is ideal, within walking distance of the main strip. We walked to the farmers market, did a little shopping, and wandered down to the water before heading out for the day.Overall, a lovely and restful getaway. We were three women visiting the island for the first time. The house was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, the location was ideal for walking to restaurants and stores, and the kitchen was very well equipped and stocked. We enjoyed spending time on the patio, and we appreciated the variety of books and games available. Kristen was a very responsive host. We really enjoyed the welcome gift. The only thing that might have improved the stay was if the bedroom blinds were black-out blinds. With the long days in July, it took a little getting used to the bedrooms being light so early in the morning.
