"Fantastic property in the most wonderful location. We loved this hotel and the Mekong Suite. The evening meals were very good. We enjoyed the kayaking excursion amongst the dolphins. The staff were lovely and we would love to return. It is not for everybody as it is quite a drive from anywhere."

"I felt like I was on a glamorous, 1940s-era Hollywood film set of a Khmer village. Some pieces were dated, but that added to the old-world charm. The island is idyllic (borrow one of the hotel bikes!), but the ferry is finicky. A Canadian couple told me they never waited more than 15 minutes, but I spent considerably more time waiting on it. If you’re in a pinch, as I was, call the hotel and they will call a private boat for you. It’s $5 one way for private boat vs 25 cents for the ferry. The...

"Adorable little homestay on the western side of Banlung only a short walk from the center of town. The bungalows are spacious, clean, and have hot water showers. "The hotel is in a beautiful area. The staff is so thoughtful and friendly. We had lovely conversation with the waitress in the restaurant both nights. When we left it was very early so the staff packed us a to go breakfast. Everything we asked for they did their best to accommodate. The room was very clean and well kept up. Not to mention that the balcony left the perfect place to enjoy the view with a glass of wine."

"The place is a great stay for a couple of days. You can easily go to see the river dolphins from here and enjoy the town. The service is great. They even offer free Rikshaw drives to town.
