About this property
1868 Farmhouse on 4.5 Acres | Fire Pit | Sleeps 10
Summary:
For families and friend groups who want a fall weekend with room to be together: a restored 1868 farmhouse for 10 on 4.5 private acres in Kettle Moraine country. Light the stone fire pit (firewood and s'mores supplies provided), cook in a chef's kitchen with two dishwashers, and step onto heated bathroom floors in the morning. Fall color on the Ice Age Trail, Old World Wisconsin and East Troy are a short drive. Pick your dates and gather here.

Guest Access:
The whole 1868 farmhouse and the grounds around it are yours alone: fire pit, Beehive Bar pavilion, patio, gardens and play area. Self check-in with a smart lock. Free parking on site for several cars. The upstairs bedrooms are reached by a spiral staircase; the primary suite is on the first floor. The inside of the barn and the marked beehive area stay private.
The Neighborhood:
Fall color on the Ice Age Trail in Kettle Moraine State Forest is about 20 minutes away by car. The farm sits on a county road among open fields, and guests tell us they end up spending most of their time on the grounds. East Troy's square and the East Troy Railroad Museum are about 10 minutes away, The Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago (apples and cider) about 10, Old World Wisconsin about 20, and Alpine Valley about 20 for concerts and winter skiing. Lake Geneva is about 35 minutes: a good day trip, not a quick errand.
Getting Around:
You need a car here. The farm is rural and nothing is within walking distance. Parking is free and on site, with room for several cars. Milwaukee's airport (MKE) is about 40 minutes away and Chicago O'Hare (ORD) about 90 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
• Three of the four bedrooms are upstairs, reached by a spiral staircase. The primary suite and its bath are on the first floor.
• This is a working hobby farm with beehives. We may be on the grounds tending the gardens, the bees or the snow, and we never enter the house during your stay.
• The fifth bed is a queen sofa bed in the living room.
• Exterior security cameras and a noise monitor are on the property.
• After you book, we send a rental agreement to sign and a guest portal to complete before check-in details go out.
• Check-in is 4 PM, check-out is 10 AM.
Interaction with Guests:
I’m here to ensure you have a fantastic stay! I am available throughout your visit via the app's messaging system and strive to respond within an hour. While I love offering local recommendations for Lake Geneva, I respect your privacy and will give you your space to enjoy the farm.
