The Lamplighter Inn at East Point Lighthouse

Experience life as a Lighthouse Keeper on the most eastern tip of Prince Edward Island. Start each day watching the sun rise over the three colliding tides on East Point Reef. Spend the afternoons walking pristine white sand beaches and skipping red stone rocks across the waves. Watch the fishing boats haul their lobster traps or target the elusive giant Bluefin tuna right from your living room. If you're looking for a slice of heaven on earth...look no further.

We have completed our renovations and it looks beautiful!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If you would like to help, which we really appreciate, we just ask to put any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on, strip the beds and put a load of sheets in the wash. Thanks!

A beautiful property overlooking the lighthouse and the ocean! Beautiful sunrises from wraparound decks with plenty of seating for everyone. The house inside is beautiful too with everything you could ever need. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive and have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Stunning Views

You can’t beat the view. The place was tastefully decorated and clean. My daughter was thrilled to see the local fox make daily appearances. There were tourists around the lighthouse during the day, however, we had the place pretty much to ourselves on the off hours. The view made it well worth it. We loved the place!
