Lee was very helpful and friendly! The patio was a great place to sit and sip coffee in the morning. The view from the beach is gorgeous! We watched a storm come in and a beautiful sunset at the same time. Also toured the Choptank lighthouse, rode the ferry and biked around the old town of Oxford. Definitely recommend this place! He answered all our questions very promptly. The property was right on the water with great views. The building was very nice and we had everything we needed. The small bedroom is small and could use a window but it worked out for our 14 y/o daughter. The master bedroom was wonderful as was the kitchen, dining room, and living room. It is so peaceful and soul fulfilling. Sitting by the covered porch at the break of dawn, drinking hot tea and watching the birds fly and some diving to the pond in front of the porch for food is so enjoyable. I even spotted 2 Eagles gliding in front of my eyes. Sitting by the beach and watching the beautiful sunset is another of my favorites. The kids enjoyed kayaking and paddle boating along the serene waters of Choptank river. The house is clean and pretty. The host is very helpful and answers questions quickly. We loved that when the heat of the day was too much we could birdwatch from the couch. With the kayaks and Adirondack chairs waiting for us on the beach it was so easy.
