Trails! Views! Serenity! Family & pet friendly cottage, 5 minutes from town!
Nestled in a quiet valley just 5 minutes from Nannup's friendly centre, and with direct access to the incredible trails network, our cozy farm cottage oozes character! Bring the whole family, drink in views of rolling hills, and the city will seem a million miles away! EV Charger on-site (fee applies).
With limitless walking, cycling and horse riding opportunities, the Munda Biddi Trail and Warren-Blackwood Stock Route run straight past us on a road so quiet you'll forget it's there!
Chop some firewood (BYO or available to purchase), pick yourself some loquats or figs in season, cool down with ceiling fans and air conditioners, fire up the barbie with some local marron and have a magical alfresco meal in the gazebo, build a fire in the outdoor stove. Make a pod coffee and sit on one of two shady patios watching parrots and blue fairy wrens hop in the gardens, relax with fast free Starlink wifi, catch up on work at our sit-stand desk with ergonomic chair, printer and outlets, and log in to stream on the large smart TV in the living room or lie back in bedroom 1 with a movie on the 32in smart tv (both with Chromecast).
Well behaved dogs and cats are welcome and riders may bring their horses by arrangement. House is fully heated by reverse cycle and portable heaters. Guests who enjoy a wood fire can purchase logs or bring their own. [ Note as a rural property that is sometimes unoccupied we have exterior security cameras covering driveway, sheds and main entrances. Footage is stored on-site.]

Property was spacious and clean. Everything you need is supplied, including a well equipped kitchen for cooking. Full of rustic charm and you can sense many fun family times have been had there.
The place was quiet and nice. There is no signal but the wifi speed is amazing! The rooms were clean and tidy. There is a big place in the living room for us to lay around. Overall it was a brilliant place to stay for a few nights!
A really cute "cottage" with all the amenities. Very quiet area and close to Nannup township. Nice and comfy beds with loads of extra blankets for the cooler evenings we experienced. We took advantage of the fire and the reverse cycle. Could imagine it would be lovely during the warmer weather with nice outdoor facilities and the views are magnificent.
Small things - most powerpoints/remotes were marked. Worked out the stove top - maybe mark the powerpoint as it was not on when we arrived so took a few to work out piezo. We couldn't work out/light the oven and instructions would have helped.
I was surprised that the property was not totally fenced given it was dog friendly. We don't use the "collar" system mentioned in the guide at the house. Might be worth mentioning on the site so people are aware that they need to manage this - I would have brought my long lead and stake so that she could spend time outside without my constant supervision.
In saying this we had a fantastic time and would certainly recommend and come again :)
We really enjoyed this spacious home during our stay in Nannup. 5 days with 3 families felt too fast! With a warming fire, ample rooms, separate areas to enjoy the views & a ping pong table we had a great time even when raining. The kids could wander & play or go on farm walks safely whilst the parents drank tea. Perfect
The cottage had everything we need for our group of 6 people to enjoy our 3 night stay. The kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils and cutlery. The beds were clean and comfortable to sleep in. The wood heater kept the living area nice and warm. The location was perfect as was close to town, but at the same time offering a country feel. Recommend for a relaxing stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay at Seraphim Retreat. The quaint and cozy house is comfortable, clean and with an amazing view. It is the perfect distance to the town. I would definitely stay here again.
Second time we’ve stayed here. Awesome little place. It’s no 5 star hotel but it’s nice, clean and as someone said previously, “quirkey”. Close to town, and the mountain bike park with a toasty warm fire, this is an awesome getaway. We’ll be back again!

Our second stay at the Seraphim Retreat, we absolutely love it. Such a beautiful location and Nannup is only a quick drive away. Was cool enough this time to enjoy the cozy fire in the evening as well. Thank you.

I liked everything there. Its perfect. No need something to say.
Nice house in peaceful setting. Only issues were the washing machine was not operational so this should be removed from the property advert and with it stating Nannup's all-species farm cottage, it wasnt a working farm and there wasnt an animal in sight.
We just got home from a fantastic couple of days on Nannup at this great little house .The house that fred built is quirky and cosy and all you need when looking to relax and enjoy the peace ans quite .Out 2 kids 4 and 6 loved getting there gum boots on and looking for animal tracks. We brought our little staffy who spent 3 days just going around sniffing everything and the evenings crashed out by the fire place .The kids didn't want to go home .We will be booking again in the future
Plenty to enjoy about this property (loc/prox to nannup town and tea/coffee/condiments) but was let down by dirty towels on arrival, the doors and floor giving the feeling that they were going to collapse/general condition of building and weird smell near fridge.
Not a fan of having security cameras over the front door - don't know if your being watched or listened too???
Overall its a pass given the $$$

Cleanliness and cameras concerning
Him: I found the abundance of outdoor security cameras, 7 by my count, quite unsettling. The cameras are designed to send notifications to the owner by PC or phone app, using audio and visual surveillance feeds. The security measures felt excessive. You can't walk anywhere around the property without being potentially watched. The security camera for the outdoor patio area is also concerning as it compromises the personal privacy of guests. One patio camera overlooks a bedroom so you need to close the curtains. The automated outdoor lighting and patio heater didn't work. The owner requested we keep our showers limited to 3 minutes and to take our garbage away with us when we left. His listing says a wood fire is available, however after booking (which was non-refundable) he emailed us and retracted saying not to use it. The same was said for the washing machine. Also no ping pong table. The listing needs updating. Cleanliness was lacking indoors, with issues like dirty toilet seat, dog slobber on glass sliding doors, and heavy dust accumulation under beds. We only came across one cockroach in the kitchen but bug spray was available. Kitchen appliances were left grubby. Property is not on a river.
Her: The bottle of wine was a welcoming touch. We booked for 5 nights. We do have 2 small dogs which made it appealing. Unfortunately, the photos and listed amenities are misleading, but the location is rural and peaceful. The lack of cleanliness was very concerning for me.
We had a lovely stay, the place was cozy, beautiful and clean!!! Lots of great little notes to help figure things out and we loved all the games !!! Wood fire was perfect too !!!
We absolutely loved our stay at Seraphim Retreat! The home is just beautiful and the location was perfect for a relaxing family getaway.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We will be back!
